This game is fun but difficult to learn when u just got the game. The only thing I dont like about this game is that you can't make your player run faster even u pressed R1.

Just to clear things up about gameplay now i know alot of people think that "TOO SLOW" or "The ball movements are to slow its like they are playing badmintion" No its completley wrong first of all you need the experience the game and play it secondly there are different game modes and quite a few TS3 vids on here are on very easy mode so its so slow but when its on normal or harder modes it just like normal tennis. And this game takes alot of skill to succeed online. Best tennis game yet.

@SGerrard2008 Virtua Tennis is way better then this. And you actually call this realistic?? Look at how the players move for God sakes. Their Forehand,Backhand, and serve techniques don't even match in this game. In Virtua Tennis they do. So what if VT has a tail at the end of the ball.

Do you mean your players overall rating is 70? Because that's the highest rating you can get to for a created player, so you won't be able to add any more points to any attributes once the overall rating is 70.

top spin 3 really looks a lot better than virtua tennis 3. vt3's gameplay really sucks if you are a hardcore tennis fan. players always jump like crazy then still manage to hit an impossibly great shot while doing so, making you lose the point after pinning him into the corner. plus, it has shots that doesn't exist in real-tennis. players hit lobs that drop very near the net!! what!! a lob drop-shot?

I admit that if I had chosen to choose the Top Spin 3, but neither should be noted that the virtual 3 is bad, are two different games arcade is the virtual 3 and Top Spin 3 is more realistic. But not that of non-sega alg could make more realistic, but that people are the most fun arcade-style (that's why he won in sales)

also to hit powerful shots it works wen u have quite a bit of time. when the ball is hit 2 you move your player back a few steps then hit the ball trust me it works

You're right, playing the real game would be a lot more fun, but I'm not a teenager & i still love this game cause it's not a stupid arcade game and you can really play some interesting tennis shots which would take me a life time to work out on the courts.. just check some guys who play this game well and you'll be amazed !

I don't like how they depict Federer and Nadal's serve. You know that it's not as simple as that. Also, Federer puts more spin on his serves than that. Nadal hits harder than that.

To do a powerful serve you need to hold R2 and then press your button/direct the analog stick. You can also use L2 + R2 but that requires pinpoint timing. Afraid I can't help you with dropshots, I'm hopeless meself. I could do with some tips aswell.

Smash court tennis 2 was a brilliant game. Best tennis game ever, i loved the way you could hit winners with perfectly timed flat shots and most other shots would be topsin shots, just like in real tennis. SCT3 doesnt look as good, i was a bit dissapointed with topsin 3, gameplay is a little slow, and having to hold in the button all the time is a pain, It means you have to hold it in even before your opponent hits it, anyone else have the same view?

Well it's a damn sight better than VT3 but nowhere near as good as Smash Court 2. I'm still enjoying it, but it's stat distribution is severely limited compared to Smash Court 2. The courts are great, and you can slide on the clay (to a degree), which is cool.

Nadal has a contract with Sony so he is exclusive to PS3. I doubt that he will ever be released as DLC on the 360 but the player creater enables you to create Nadal and Djokovic. The player creater has Nadal's swing motion available for use with your own character and you can also purchase his clothes. So all in all, I would say it was still worth buying.

I think it's because SC3 came out about 8 months ago in Japan so when that was initally released over there, he hadn't signed the Sony contract. But because they're only just releasing the game over here, he will be in it.

One question when you make your custom player is their a lot of racquets to choose from.

At the beginning there's only one racket, but as you progress through career mode you get points and you can use them to buy rackets. There's alot of them to choose from aswell.
