There are some awesome new fatalities now. They roll on the floor, slash stomachs as well... I can't really list them all. Honestly, yeah. The game was full of bugs in launch, but now there's so much pvp I could hardly see the playfield with the amount of people fighting for rights to an area on the pvp server.

A while ago i played Age of Conan, and i consider start again. But i wonder... did they add PvP gear and rewards in the game? as it looks abit like you are wearin some sort of assassin gear m8.

These fatalities are just cool are they somekind skills or do they come like killing moves? i mean when you kill someone and it has like 1hp and then he/she finishes the guy like that?

fatalaties are random, any attack that kills an opponent has a chance of being a fatality, combos improve that chance, or spells or skills or w/e

@klaridon Using the directional buttons to do any regular melee or ranged attacks will not trigger a fatality. However, spell attacks, such as a Herald of Xotli's hellfire breath make it easier to spontaneously ignite a weakened enemy.. Also bleeding effects have a chance to set off a fatality debuff, although the enemy will just die and not provide an animation.

@aftermathematics365 Nope that's not true you can do fatalities from white hits, it's just much more likely if you use an ability combo or spell that it will trigger.

@klaridon I've been playing AoC since I've reactivated the subscription again in 2009. My favorite characters to play are the barbarian and the assassin. I've never been able to do any fatality by white hits alone in that time. If they let you pull them off in the past, that might have been plausible. Perhaps Funcom might bring that back, as they should the "piss" emote, lol. Let me know, please, if you have any characters on Wicciana. All the best otherwise! :)

@klaridon I have a conq, sin, barb, ranger and a pom. Those are my 80's so far.. The barb is my best hitter and main so far. If you come to Wicciana, please don't hesitate to send Viscol a  tell. I'm also trying to bring the pom, Cauvin, up to speed. The rest of my characters are unlocking their AAs while I'm dealing with gear upgrades. What are some of your favorite characters?

@aftermathematics365 My 2 mains are my ToS / assassin, I'm leveling a barb atm though, I mainly play my ToS because I just love it in pvp, my assassin is for ganking people I don't like lol, though I do need alot of practice with it.

@klaridon Good call dude! You're right, a well placed ToS, especially in HV or Blood Ravine can do a lot of damage. I've been playing the sin a lot at pvp because almost no one on Wicciana does Jade Dugout, so I have to get that slow death strike 5 somehow, lol. The sin is still squishy for me, but a good corruption and misasma strike really does the job for sure. Barb has become my favorite now and the upheaval AA seems to bring out the full flavor. I'm not sure if they had this back then, but if they did then you missed the one where you go up behind someone while hidden, then if you kill them by pressing 1 of the attack directions, you step up form behind and slit their throat with both of your daggers.

Forgot the stealth attack fatality. When you stealth attack someone with low health from behind you grab there head with one arm and slit there throat slowly. Its the best one imo.

how does pulling off a fatality work? is it random? or do u do a specific chain or style to get it off?

I haven't played AoC in a while, but if I remember correctly, a couple of things contribute to getting a fatality.

First, you must complete a combo, then that combo must do enough damage to kill the enemy off, then you have a random chance at getting a fatality if the first two steps are completed, so in short:

1) Fully complete combo

2) combo must deplete enemies remaining health

3) A random chance of getting fatality can happen if 1 and 2 are met (increased with gear that gives +fatal)

@loneless the combo doesnt have to do enough damage to kill off the enemy to execute a fatality. you can fatality enemies that have 100% hp with just one combo. but yes you execute fatalities via combos. atleast for melee i dunno how casters work i havent played one in aoc
