What is she talking about? What the fuck is she talking about? I think what she's saying is that Radiohead's choice to release their album online in a "donation" style somehow sets a precedent that will make it harder for up-and-comers to maximize their profits for their music. Debates about whether you should be making music for money or not aside, they made tons of money from the album because of the absence of a middleman. She is obviously just jealous and trying to get attention.

because of this free downloading of this album "in rainbows". i mean generally it´s a cool idea, it shows that they´re more about the music and not the money, and i´m pretty sure lots of radiohead fans have payed more than it would have usually cost in normal cd stores, but on the other hand there might be about 500000 people thinking "fuck the money, i´ll download it for free", so although the idea is very cool, they have to earn some money as well and that could go pretty wrong

I think it goes to show the difference between an artist and the corporate attitude towards music; which the ladder is where Ms. Allen is best suited. A true artist does it for the love of the art. The hope is that you can make a living at what you love. Otherwise you can go into banking or something else if your in it for the money. BTW, Jimmy is awesome.
