Trust me it is a genuine Indian dish & and yes it is interesting. Note it is not normal bananas, but green or platain.

No worries - this is my adaptation of the southern Indian dish - you may recognise it :)
yep :) I am a South Indian myself and my Mom does prepare similar stuff!!
Such dishes are more popular in Andhra Pradesh the state from which I come :)
Big users of cassava as well - must try a recipe with that sometime
yep!!! we do make some hot as well as sweet dishes with processed cassava!!!
