Great Berkshire -- much better than the stock PE Berk.
And if this video doesn't move you or bring back memories, than you are either under 40, never had a train, never had a Christmas tree, never saw the movie or you just don't have a heart.
WELL DONE! This is the view I always imagined I'd see as a passenger on my Berk 726 tender (thanks dad) when I was a kid.
@wayneas1 This is my first scale steamer and it's a beauty! After watching the movie with the kids I had to get this engine. The kids love it too! Lionel used Tom Hanks voice to call out All aboard this is the polar express! It also somokes the whole house out. I will be geting the passenger cars to match. thats a realy nice berkshire i have the starter #1225 berkshire set and im sure you know the smoke units on them has poor output i found out its the air push lever making short stokes not pushing that much air into the smoke unit thats why it dosnt smoke well when moving it got plenty of heat to smoke i have to some how extened the lever there was a video of somone eles doing the same thing but he never made a video of it being completed but your is very detail and smoke very well
Hey Keith, I saw you on the OGR Forum and happen to find your youtube videos. I didn't get the cars yet. I bought the GE Hybrid last week and the tank cars to go with it. I will get the polars cars starting in June and will buy them one at a time until I get them all. Looks like they will still be around then.

Your description says you were going to get the passenger cars in Feb...did you get them yet? They are very nice. I only bought the two-pack(coach and obs car), but I had an RPO custom painted for Polar Express. I ordered the Abandoned Toys Car...I didn't want the baggage car, but it does look neat. I hope to get the add-on coach. I'm kinda holding out and waiting to see Charles Ro lowers the price during his Winter Thaw Sale.
@Railroadtrip445 Hey Matt, there is a cab light. It's so low you can't see it unless you look inside to see it! Check it out in the dark, that's what I did!

@aocruiser Thanks Anthony, It's a great engine to run. Love the smoke output! I use Mega Steam, nice, thick smoke. The house is starting to smell like it. LOL
George, I have been waiting for this video for a LONG TIME!!! lol! Man it's amazing, perfect timing too. I really love the berkshires man, and running next to the NS and CR engines, it looked great!

@Bassfanatic94 Do what I did, get the Bachmann HO version, costs $1400 less and looks pretty nice. I might not run it as often as my O scale models, but it is still a great looking locomotive (with DCC)

Thanks Joe, it's a great engine. That is the Coke set from 1978 I got for christmas when I was 8. Still runs well.
