A friend of mine breeds Sphinx's & Siamese. What the Sphinx lacks in looks, it makes up for in personality. They are charmers that love human contact. When I sit on the floor, a litter of kittens will climb all over me. They love contact. I would be afraid to let them out doors.

Vet explained the brown is dead skin which the staph already killed. So at first I'd keep rubbing it off, and skin would be raw, and imo helped spread the staph. Now he gets an allergy pill to prevent inflamation that would lead to staph gaining a foothold.

theres a juice bottle near you that can spread it directly to your mouth.then no gloves you probably made a meal after this and didnt wash everything down with bleach. i wouldve quarantined everything. a staph infection can cause MRSA, a staph infection from hositals un clean enviornments.

My sphynx cat has the same brown rash under her neck, and moving up on the face. Cant really tell what is causing it, we think its her diet. Her last owner had her on Whiskas for a whole year and every time we try to change her food to something better she get the brown rash under the neck. Don't want to giver her whiskas. What does your Shynx cat eat?? Do you know what ingredient could be causing the infection?

Changed his diet to only wet can foods recommended by vet. It seemed like every time I took him out on leash, in a few days he got the rash, but these days if he doesn't get his 1/2 allergy pill morn and night, he starts the brown, and I think the allergy pills is why he's gained and can't lose weight.

I think one of the best things for staff infection is putting natural clay on it. It soaks up most of the toxins, and keep it covered. I used clay when I got staff on my foot.

I guess it's kinda hard to do that when a cat's ass is infected.

With my cat, an allergy kicks up that creates inflammation, then a staph infection takes advantage and starts an infection. The brown is actually dead skin. Vet had him taking prescription for awhile, but now it's over the counter allergy pills, and soothing lotion to keep the inflammation under control. The allergy has not been cured, cuz we haven't discovered the source of the allergy. Staph is cured by prescription from vet.

But also, with fluffy cats, they have to shave them; it may be an infection, it may be too hot in the summer for them, or they might just shave a little area for needles and whatnot. Shaving a cat is perfectly fine. Not mean.
