- It introduced Bass

- There was a kickass fight with Protoman

- The ending was amazing

- It had one of the best soundtracks in the series, along with 9 and 5

Man I wish I had this when I was younger, I instead had Mega Man X which I didn't mind, it was awesome.

I'm currently working on a Graphing Paper Screen of the opening scene where Dr. Wily and Mega Man fight, I'm almost finished with Wily and working my way towards Mega Man. After I finish the picture, it will be HUGE.

I have to say for an original megaman game, this story was a great concept for the time, I mean, this is a first in the megaman series, an explination on how wily returns to bring havoc. Such a happy intro turns pretty dark and spooky hehe

ah... the memories... i always loved to watch the intro of any game i bought and watch it every time i wanted to play...i'd get mad whenever i invited somebody over to play and skipped it...the last part of this megaman intro used to scare the shit out of me every time.. it was just so scary for me to watch that robot move his eyes towrds me, then facing me to shoot his flamethower...ahh..yea i kno..such a wimp...childhood :)
