Acrylic Painting Techniques - Painting A Mottled Background

Hi, I am new at the pc 'stuff''. So I apologize first. I've watched this video several times. I LOVE the your 'mottled' background! :) I tons of brushes and I want to learn how to do your background..The problem is.... the mop brush. I know from experience, NOT to get it wet! Won't the acrylic dry on it, in between putting the color down on the canvas? And how do I go about seeing MORE for your Free videos, as I'm on a VERY fixed income. Thank you for your time.
