Banig was sooo good when she was a child! She's still good, but I liked her voice better when she was younger. She was truly amazing (and so cute!). When did she move to the USA? She must've been really young. Or was she born there?

I would have been excited to follow through because she's a Pinay but I missed it. My final thought is that she performed better when she was younger. The best one is in the Arsenio Hall Show. To bad that show cancelled.

I strongly believe that Charice will sell her records world wide. She still needs a lot of training to make it happen. She has to go over her fantacies. It still feel like a dream to her and still overwhelmed with the attention she's getting. She will eventually focus on stepping up the ladder to fame. Busy pa siya attending invitations. is it just me or does Oprah's comments seem forced? I supposed she has to say those since that is what the show is about. But i dont think she was that impressed honestly and neither was i. She seemed really overconfident & can someone please tell me why she always cries!!! I mean every show..is it an act she's doing??? Or being sip sip?? HAHA. i followed banig's exploits before but somewhere along the way, maybe the manager,or agent,or her handler made a mistake in managing her. Anyways I hope she's happy where she is now. charice is now in her second step which is recording an album, and the hardest step is selling it. So I typed Banig to search because I never heard of her. I was curious if it's true. Sure she appeared at those tv shows but I missed them. Don't know where I've been. I would have been excited to follow through because she's a Pinay but I missed it. My final thought is that she performed better when she was younger. The best one is in the Arsenio Hall Show. To bad that show cancelled.

No one stops you from idolizing your so-called idol but you can't force everyone to like her. She is not extraordinary to me and to some other people too. BANIG has the universal appeal..Charice has the voice with no appeal, feeling, style whatsoever. But she has a lot of unneccessary attitude. I think a lot of people think so too. Sure Charice has a good voice but the only thing i notice is, she sings the song but don't have the feeling for the song. A case in point? Look how she sings the DreamGirls cover song -And am telling you! She is smiling through the song a lot and all replete with vocal gymnastics! That was a feely-touchy-angry song and she doesn't have a clue on what the song is all about! Sayang, good voice nga wala namang respeto sa buod ng kanta!

actually since she hasn't had any "love life" experience yet which is good since she is/was only 14 when she began singing that song she changed one word in the song... instead of being angry and bitter towards a man she now is singing to her mom telling her how great a mom she is and how much she loves her and wouldn't leave her side, that one word changed, man to mom completely changes the mood of the song unless you associate anger and hatred towards your own mom then to each is their own...

By the way, don't even deny that you're putting Banig down because everything you said were all written. Balikan mo ang mga sinabi mo kung hindi pang-iinsulto. And your statement that "Banig is no Lea", you might be forgetting that they have different genre of music. As far as I know, Lea released an album and DIDN'T MAKE IT TOO, as all Filipinos were expecting. And there are also a few Pinoy big singers who tried but failed pero hindi naman ninyo kinantiyawan.

Pagsikapan na lang ninyo na magkaroon ng matagumpay na career ang idol ninyo, huwag na kayong mang-intriga ng ibang singers kasi kapag nag-retaliate ang fans ng iniintriga ninyo, ay ang idol ninyo ang TATAMAAN. If you'll only relax and stop the intrigues and comparison, you'll also get other artist's fans to support your idol. But if you continue what you are doing, Charice will lose the support of other artists fans. Peace out =)).
