Blimey....cartoons from the eighties and nineties had brilliant theme songs. You wonder why people don't bring Bucky O'Hare up more and then realise it was up against stuff like Teenage Mutant ninja turtles, Ducktales, Chip'n'Dale, tiny toons, Duckula...and with other slightly older cartoons like Inspector Gaget, transformers and thundercats being thrown into the mix quite regularly then you realise oh yeah...in comparison I suppose...so much stuff on at that time...it really was brilliant.
@caliguy6721 No! Its unbelievably hard, like GI Joe, or how about some othe nes snes, sega, hell lets say Soul Cal 3 for the epic insane AI. Believe me when I say, when ppl made these games they obviously didn't test them out, and said "hell the kids won't care if they love the title this much we'll get ritch." TMNT nes; rooftop instade of trying to jump on that crap powerline, u simply walk across, glitch much. anyways bucky had waay mor comics and i think cross overs.
"Bucky O'Hare only ran for 13 episodes but it had a rich and detailed universe."
Thats why i bought the 32 episode dvd box set, if you catch my drift, they did make the entire comic series, the toon was bumped due to tmnt getting theyre contract renewed.
Same with the Captain Planet one...unfortunately someone used it to hold apple juice and forgot about it. Then we chucked the thermos cause it had fungus...lol.
yay bucky it almost felt a bit star warish but not too much i think i had the lunch box or some thing back in the day...oh wait that was the fragle rock lunch box!
Damn... I missed the old Saturday morning cartoons :(. Hey, guys! Remember when FOX, CBS, TNT, TBS, USA, and ABC ruled Saturday mornings????? Remember when FOX dominated after school thanks to Power Rangers, and Spider-Man, and Eek The Cat??? REMEMBER THE 90's??????
u forgot the family channel, kofy channel 20, they played all the hanna barbara stuff. hemans, gobots. nbc even had cartoon until about 89. then it went news all the time.
pfft hahaha you said it! that so funny i almost wish they did a star fox cartoon but i'm sure they'ed find a way to bucher it like starfox ds for example! sigh still i miss a lot of these cartoons, i impressed so many of you guys still remember this one though!
i rember when i was like 12 or 13 there was this buck tooth bitch at school that we used to call bucky o hare cuz her buck teeth..now that i think about it that was not cool
lol. Takes me back to primary school. They used to call me captain bucky. lol. but not cause I looked like him, but I could actually sing 80%+ of the song in sync
This show was the fucking shit back in the day. It's so well animated. I remember in the UK it was the most popular cartoon at the time, and it was shown on BBC. They had a competition where u could win all the toys based on the show, which at the time weren't available in the shops.
I am so happy to have found this video. I began to think this show was just part of my imagination as a kid. None of my friends I grew up with remember this show or anyone else I talk to. Glad to see other people remember it as well. Great show though.
The ONLY thing I remember about this show was that even though it only ran for 13 episodes, it contained WAY too many characters and was a blatant excuse to sell toys.
So strange that this only ran for 13 episodes. I've got loads of action figures and stuff from this show! Why would they make that stuff if it ran for such a short amount of time!
I can't believe that this show only ran for 13 episodes...I remember watching it a lot as a kid, though I guess I was watching the same episodes over and over again lol.
ha does anyone remember the CBBC competition where you had to phone in and sing the theme tune? I remember viewing the lyrics on Ceefax and practicing. Never got through on the big day sadly :(
This game is ultra mega cool. I sometimes play this game in my Nes ,I don't like play retro games in emulators because you can´t feel the real power.OK. sayonara.
This is the greatest sci-fi cartoon ever! Oh, man, Bucky and crew are so great. I am such a fan. I have the treasured limited edition hardcover book signed by Larry Hama (the creator) himself as a family heirloom.
I think the same man .I have this game in arcade and NES version totally sealed. I love collecting retro games like this. By the way it´s nice to see more fans who knows about bucky o'hare ,good for you.Greetings from javoland.
did they actually make an ending for this or did they decide not to like they did for good old SatAm. Awesome show! i loved it but i didnt watch all of them :(
This is my favorite cartoon of the 1990's man! I used to collect the action figures like you wouldn't believe! My favorite was Dead-Eye Duck; I was SO happy to get one at K-Mart! A few years ago, I got a Bucky O'Hare action figure from eBay and I still have it in its package; he was the first action figure from the show that I got (of course)! "Let's croak us some toads!"
it´s nice to see a collector like you man.I have this game totally sealed and other to play in my NES. I love collecting things like this.I hope you are OK.
we did have it the best... Bucky, Mighty max, Exo-squad, G.I. Joe, TMNT, He Man, Mask, Thundercats, Transformers...Beetlejuice ha ha, Count Duckula, Gummi bears, Ducktales, Peter pan, all such quality shows if only they would index them for viewing. Oh well cant have everything I guess
