Don't get me wrong, I support Akai and I own an MPK49 and an MPD32, and i'm seriously considering an MPC, however...in the run up to the release of these latest products (Fly, Renaissance, and Studio), each promo video had pretty much the same 3 black guys! There's many talented dope white and other ethnicities (Onra French/Vietnamese) that use MPC's. The promo's looked like they target one group!

@FRB1420 This is not designed to replace or compete with Maschine.It makes a great compliment to Maschine and MPCs.Because it is core midi compliant you could even use it with iMaschine to work on beats while away from the computer and transfer them to the computer later.You could also use it with the feature packed Beatmaker 2 app. from Intua.Now that $20 app makes an Ipad a fantastic value.Synth apps such as AniMoog,Korg iMS-20 & Horizon(JP 8000 emulator) are icing on the cake.
