  • Worked on restoring a 163b Komet at RAF Halton many years ago.

It went to the Science Museum I believe.

  • 1:01 to 1:03 shows a Ki61 Hien wearing German markings, what the heck is the story behind that...? I know they were powered by the (license built) DB601 and similar to the Bf.109 in design and layout but I'd like to hear the story behind this.

  • @sixty8panther isn't that a heinkel 100? If it is a ki61 then the matter is very interesting as German use of this aircraft is completely unheard of

  • Kaikki kunnia Luftwaffelle!!!Ei varmaan kellään epäilystä siitä että minkälaisia pienoismalleja alan kokoilemaan jos saan sen verran inspiraatiota .......

  • Germans made some beautiful aircrafts

  • easy to rack up such high numbers when the majority were made up to create propaganda newsreels. also remember the german pilots in the 30's were shooting down polish and french bi planes and in the early 40's shooting down obsolete russian planes. some german pilots were being credited with a dozen kills a day then. hardly a true reflection on superiority. planes with twice the airspeed and three times the ceiling hunting outdated WWI era planes

  • @MrAngrygary also ALSO remember that Germany never rotated its pilots. they stayed and fought until they were shot down. what resulted from that is many well trained pilots eventually being shot out of the sky untill there was a couple of really excellent German pilots (like Hartmann) and a load of inexperienced teen pilots. In comparison, the allies, who rotated their pilots, had a large number of relativity good pilots making up the core of their fighter command.

  • the germans!!! let us unite with the russians against the yankees...together we are FORCE!!

  • @MegaPypkin .., togther your both awesomely gay! assclown

  • @MegaPypkin Last time you tried that you didn't last three years together.

  • Comment removed

  • name of song please!awesome vid!

  • beautiful warbirds!!

  • What aircraft is that at 1:03 ?

Looks almost like a Ki.61 Hien of Japanese Design but utilizing the same Mercedes DB-601/603 series motor as the Bf.109

  • @sixty8panther Me-109

  • In world now dominates - russian now metal-music Alkonost, Atra Mustum, Fearlight, Nomans Land, Pagan Reign, Satarial, Senmuth, Temnozor, Wewelsburg). Ambient metal: Яровит, Dvar, Xerbittert, Frozen Mind, Ithdabquth Qliphoth

  • World War 2 in Germans vs russians, NOT WAs: germanic people vs slavs, it was: CELTS (germans and austrians) vs SCANDINAVIAN VIKINGS(RUSSIANS). After all russians have occurred from vikings.

It is HEAVY to germans to operate with this fact against russians! If Russians occurred from slavs to germans it would be easy

  • - In german in difference from other European languages - speak only in Germany and Austria

    - Only for WW1 Germany will pay reparations to 2020 (!!!), and for WW2 it will pay all life!!!!! =D

    - External debt of Germany makes Trillion and 700 billion!!!!! This One of the highest in Europe. And, an external public debt of Russia of one lowest in the world.

    - Russians I dominate in the world of different kinds of martial arts. And, germans in martian arts take a place 0.

  • False germans think now that Hitler (at WHICH STANK FROM MOUTH.Historic fact) will be for germans eternal lawyer. What is nazi labels (which other people will use) vs hated peoples by them will operate by INERTIA. Poor on natural resources small Germany militarily - anything, can destroy it both mighty Russia and Israel.

    - Germans - ran from huns of Atilly.

    - Germans - have lost Hussite Wars.

    - Germans lost to russians (World War 1), when germans was more, as vs Aleksei Brusilov

  • Germans in WW2 weren't talented soldiers, germans were successful in WW2 because their soldiers many long years (1933-39) trained, nazis haven't begun world war at once as have come to power, they unknown to whole world trained and then have suddenly attacked, and it is cowardice and it is dishonest. Army of any nation would be powerful if it has trained and then has suddenly attacked.

And still about superpowers - germans in WW2 used Jews (captured) for creation of new military technology.

  • Germans are NOT GERMANIC people, IN Y-DNA GERMANS ARE CELTS!!! At germans in DNA doesn't dominate german haplogroup I1, at germans dominates celtic haplogroup R1b ht tp://w w w. eupedia. com/europe/european_y-dna_haplogroups. shtml . Germans ONLY USE GERMANIC LANGUAGE and GERMANIC CULTURE.

    Germans DNA is:

    celtic haplogroup R1b - 44%

    germanic haplogroup I1 - 16%

    slavic R1a haplogroup - 16%

    others not-white race haplogroups - 25%

Germans are so germanic how much they are SLAVS!

  • Some great photos, esp the Stukas, shame about the music.

  • part 3: It's also important to see the full picture, not just fancy german pencil drawings. The allies never really brought anything beyond their '43 state of fielding. The reason was practical war-economy. They knew they were winning the war with B-17, P-47D and P-51D. Many, many planes were cancelled. If needed, the P-47J would have been in production by start of '45. P-51H was by then produced in numbers. And by the end of '45, the P-80 was in practice a far better plane than Me 262.

  • 何でドイツの兵器は全てにおいて斬新なんだろう

  • Hard to say who's airforce was the best. The Luftwaffe was equipped with the most advanced weapons and were going places with experiments, although England also had jet aircraft, and almost everyone else was not far behind.

  • Awesome photos, but the music made the video look crap. F for failure.

  • RIP HEINZ HERMANN EUGENE LANGER 1924-2010

My father who passed away only last Friday. He was in Luftwaffe and served in WW2 as his father did WW1 for Germany... Actually worked for the Americans also. I am not exaggerating when I say this. When it comes to men, He was flawless. We don't make men like that anymore. He was ten times the man that I see society is producing today. He was hard as a rock!

I look around and because of him... I realise just how fucking soft they are.

    German Pride!

  • Glorification of the war is a bad idea, but people do it anyway. Then they are led by some maniac into a battle and get slaughtered by millions. Now it looks like people haven't had a real blood bath for a while, and so it is coming. This time, muslim suicide vests vs christian drones. Invest in coffin-making companies!!

  • Statistically, the Luftwaffe is one of the finest organizations in the world. However, the Luftwaffe followed on by fallschirmjager, and the Wermacht??? What would Europe be like today?

  • @krauens smoke more crack, dude? No organization would model itself on the lutwaffe which was managed rather than lead by a leader. Unless you consider Herman Goering your'e model leader ? Compulsive lardass, drug addict drunk and uber costumed buffon.

pls return too your'e nazi fagtard bunker.

  • I will concede that the Luftwaffe was one of the finest organizationa of its day...However, had they succeeded and been allowed to continue their Blitzkrieg campaign; follwed by the much vaunted Fallschirmjager, what would Europe be like today?

  • This technology was amazing far more advanced than others in world. Mayba germans have connections with aliens? :D

  • @sanyigz maybe you should remove that nazi fagtard penis from your'e behind and sitdown on a pillow.

  • @fluffy1931 i'm talked about facts. I know you're can't read about it, and you can always say the only words that you know "nazi", "penis".

Advanced things: the most powerful tanks, first VTOL aircraft, first ballistic, and cruise missle (from which experencies all the soviet and us missles built), the first "all wing" aircraft with lowered radar visibility (used by B-2), first swept wings on aircrafts, just few technologies that are the foundations of the modern aviation, and weapons....

  • @sanyigz none of these have anything to do with the outcome of the 'Cold War' 1945-1989 and the collapse of the USSR , dude.

The USSR collapsed like a hobo on a hotpocket because of it's weak economy. Nothing to do with your'e fantasy about nazi fagtard technology. gtfoh

  • @fluffy1931 Who talked about outcome of cold war? How comes that here? About "fantasy" Search for V-1, V-2, Heinkel Lerche, Go-229, Me-262, Ruhrstahl X-4. You can find a lot of infos about these "fantasy" technologies and the most of these are used in the war. Old people from London can tell things about the first two... Sadly those "fantasy" people who are killed by these don't.

Of course you don't care about the facts, because your stupidity is at high level as your monumental ignorance ;)

  • @sanyigz unrestricted investments into immature technological R&D can certainly improve the pace of progress, but cannot guarantee the solution of all problems inherent in new technology. The story of advanced german technology developed during WWII is a classical example of premature introduction of immature technology into operational use. Lack of the required chrome, nickel, cobalt and molybdenum meant waste of resources on poor jet engine performance, inaccurate rockets etc.

  • @sanyigz The widespread idea amongst young people today, about Luftwaffe technical superiority is, as a way to understand history, totally false. This perception has come about through the popularization of desperate german attempts, towards the end of the war. Such popularization is books, movies and videogames about "Luftwaffe'46" and "secret weapons". The reality is complex. Germany definitely was the world leader in rockets and guidance systems. In aviation tech, US was ahead.

  • @sanyigz part 2: That doesn't mean US was ahead in everything. German scientists collected some aerodynamic high-speed data on swept wings. This had a profound impact on postwar aircraft design. As for jet-engines though, the german design principle was doomed. Forget nonsens about "lack of alloys". It would take ten years to make the axial turbojet practical. While Germany had the thrust to make a jetplane in '43, by '45 british engines were twice the power and more efficient and reliable.

  • @Vermiliontea i know the axial jet was unreliable with those alloys, but still, they made it, and used it years before others. If the british engines were better in '43 then why they didn't used them in war?

At least you're someone who knows about these things, and not just hates like that fluffy idiot :)

  • @sanyigz I didn't say the british engine was better in '43. It wasn't. I said it was better by '45. By '43 the radial compressor jet engine still didn't deliver much thrust. It could make a plane fly, but it couldn't propel a high performance plane. But that technology was chosen deliberately, because they perceived it was a better initial path. And they were right about that. The axial engine's problems were solved much later by Pratt&Whitney and General Electric.

  • @sanyigz Axial jet is the obvious idea. And in comparison with radial it has a huge advantage. It can shovel much more air through the engine. It achieves greater thrust. So the germans could fly He 280 with two 5.7 KN engines already in '41. It also has an immense difficulty, in that the compressor is aerodynamic. This makes compressor stalls and high compression a challenge. Me 262 still flew with two 8.8 KN engines in '45, while the P-80 flew with a single, practical 17.2 KN engine in '44.

  • @sanyigz What a nation use in wartime has much to do with degree of desperation. The allies didn't need to bring anything beyond their '43 state of fielding. By contrast - The Me 262 is the world's first "operational" jet. It is so by _NEED_. There is no way the USAAF would ever have considered the Me 262 fit for operational use. Because of the engines. They required at least 10 times greater reliability and between-service cycles.

  • IL-2, Jak-9 and La-7 and 05/09/45

    but Bf-109 - fuckin beautifull

  • A mix from well-known and lesser known photos. Thanx for the lesser known pictures. But .... the enclosed music sure was forbidden in the III. Reich. ;o)

  • 09.05.1945

  • VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, NICE ! ! ! !

  • Where's the navy seal like GROUND combat action these guys were so infamous for!

  • 2:12 is fuck comunist plane no is Luftwaffe

  • If Hitler would have let his Generals fight the war the way they wanted... things may have been very differant

  • German power nice birds and aces like bubi

  • Music for retarded ..

  • Nazi technology like the Go-229 does indeed make you wonder if they were given or found something not of this world.

  • The Japanese were good until they got their asses handed to them by the Hellcat. As far as the Germans, what is the criterion for being the "best" air force? Best tactical air force? Best strategic air force? Best organizational air force? The most skilled pilots? Best operational aircraft? Or maybe they had the coolest uniforms or the neatest paint schemes (in which case I vote for the Flying Tigers) It is subjective and will never be conclusively resolved.

  • hmmm?

  • buenisimo el video, como se llama el tema, esta de lujo

  • Achtung! Achtung! Pokryschkin ist in der Luft!(danger! danger! Pokryschkin is in the air)-shouted german pilots hystericly when he was in the sky! just to show you who REALY was the best pilot!! not to mention that germans only used uncoded radio transmisions in only 2 occasions

    1. Achtung! Achtung! partizanen!!

    2. Achtung! Achtung! panzern!

    that was the third!!

  • @Vonsiatsky reading propaganda?

  • @tryithere no mate!! all i said is true and you can look it up in books!! i do admit that luftwaffe was the very best airforce of the time and it became worse only at the end of war when most of the veteran and skilled pilots were already dead and the new were no match for those who died! but what i ve said about Pokryschkin is true !! he was feared and respected by the noble pilots of luftwaffe

  • they were deff, one of the best but in the end we had it on them and the allies won

  • Luftwaffe uber alles!

  • luftwaffe for ever

  • @Manjpp bit late for that

  • Der Luftwaffr wast zehr Guhte!! I hope I said it right. The Luftwaffe was the best, bar none. No Air Force came even close until the British pilots became the Luftwaffes equal at The Battle Over Britian. Even with the British pilots gaining much needed combat experience the only plane that held it's own against the Luftwaffe was the Spitfire. And you do not need to be a college history major to figure that out, though that is my major.

  • @SirStrazzen

    its Sehr not zehr

    its Gut not Guhte

    :)

  • i think the luftwaffe was the best as well. they were juste terribly outnumbered.

  • @sweetsongman1 From the start of '44, USAAF was able to field, in numbers, fighters over Germany which were substantially superior to those fielded in numbers by Luftwaffe. "Paddle-blade" P-47 and P-51B & D. For one thing, their cruise speed was almost as high as the german fighters top speed. So during '44, Luftwaffe, which until then had managed to hold their own, was basically shot down, 20,000 planes destroyed. After this, Luftwaffe was certainly "terribly outnumbered".

  • @sweetsongman1 Outnumbered and highly underrated by the German high command. Many of the Nazi higher-ups didn't believe air power was that important, except for Goering.

  • @Misterwhalley88 ..,outnumbered because of luftwaffe was losing pilots at a faster rate than they could be replaced. In 1940' Battle of Britain the luftwaffe was not out numbered by the RAF and could not protect their own bombers. So much for excuses.

  • @fluffy1931

Ever heard of RADAR & the home court advantage?

  • @sixty8panther ..,tell that to the USAAF which broke the back of the luftwaffe and bombed Germany back to the stone age from 1943-1945.

  • @fluffy1931 Dream on, boy! You cowards joined the war only when we were lacking for reinforcements in 1944 when the war was ending anyways! We only lost (thank God for that) because we fought on many fronts and were terribly outnumbered! Our pilots were damn bad asses and ruled the skies professionally! You're just another american bastard who hates to admit it! No air force will ever dominate the skies like we had back then, although we were outnumbered! Go on and kill civilians you cowards!

  • @nymerie keep sniffing asscracks, assclown. The US entered ww2 on Dec7, 1941' after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Germany unilaterally declared war on the United States assclown not the other way around. On Dec 11, 1941'.

The luftwaffe as early as 1940 was cockblocked by the RAF alone during the Battle of Britain.

pls shut the fuck up you nazi fagtard.

  • @fluffy1931 1944 was the year you cowards joined the war in EUROPE!!! That's what I meant, fag!!! To hell with and your RAF!!! We fucked them real bad!!! OMG!!! As I said - you're just another american bastard who hates to admit! All what you're good at is bombing civilians all around the world and call it "the war against terror"! As to your war against the Japs! Well, they fucked you in Pearl Harbour and destroyed your fleet in 1945 so you avenged yourself by h-bombing civilians! Well done!

  • @nymerie US supplied the UK, the Soviet Union, China, France and other Allied nations with vast amounts of war material between 1941 and 1945.

The USwas already engaged in amphibious operations as early as the 1942' Raid on Dieppe , France. How about Sicily July 10 - Aug17, 1943 allied invasion Italy?

The USAAF began it's bombing campaign against Germany in 1943' through 1945' and broke the back of the luftwaffe as early as 1944' and gained complete air superiority over northwestern europe.

  • @fluffy1931 "Amphibious operations"! LOL ^^ "Supply operations"! LOL ^^ "Broke the back of the Luftwaffe"! LOL ^^

    nice try!

You fags joined the war only when the Germans had no reinforcements left or any MEN to fight! We were simply terribly outnumbered but still scored the highest kills in the air and dominated the skies! So don't bang about your bloody USAAF and its so called "history"! You morons lie and pull out some propaganda and believe it! Only God stopped us! Which is good!

  • @nymerie ..,keep sniffing buttcracks assclown. Germany unilaterally declared war on the US on Dec.11, 1941'not your 'fantasy' about anybody joining whatever in 1944'?

The luftwaffe as early as 1940' was cockblocked by the RAF alone during the Battle of Britain. The luftwaffe was a tactical airforce that could barely support ground operations for the army. gtfoh

  • luftwaffe was the most dominating until the p51 d which DOMINATED

  • @dman932 / though the British Spitfire's and American P-38J's and P-47D's held their own against the Me-109& FW-190's, but you are correct. The P-51D dominated. The B model was OK, but The D was the best of the best.

  • @SirStrazzen A lot of Luftwaffe pilots in the Me-109, until the word got around, were shot down trying to outdive a P-47. Until then a 109, due to it's clean lines, could outdive any other fighter. As Robert S Johnson said of one 109, "When will these guys ever learn."

  • FW-190!!

  • Comment removed

  • 5 stars for picture 1:46

  • go luftwaffe pilots destroy to american planes yeaaaaa

  • are you another nazi bastard...my granpa was in the brittish 8th army fought in dunkirk and tobruk

  • @cherylcolerules1 / Remember though, not all Germans were Nazi's and not all Nazi's were German. Do not be so quick to judge.

  • stuka stuka stuka wonder plane.death for israel and zionism.

  • 3:35 wtf his face... uruk-hai at the wheel? lol

  • Its the ultimate weapon

  • U.F.O.s did make first contact to humankind in peenemünde, early -40´s. After war UFO research was transferred to famous area 51.

  • @Ravenlord79 ,you believe too much modern nazi propaganda.the first contact was edwards afb, eisenhower meeting.

  • What is your point matamoros77? I once met a weird American stating Hitler was so bad after all! Is this what you aim for?

If the BF 109 had been so splendid why did Luftwaffe lose The Battle of Britain?

Already there the planes weaknesses became apparent!

  • @wsteffen, Battles are won and lost by strategic decisions and available strategic resources, not because other nation's fighter ac is a tad better.

  • Yes, if you know your own weaknesses you can even overcome your oponents strength. But, here it looked as matamoros77 glorified the bf109 by not taking into account it's weaknesses at all and I can hardly see this as a balanced way of debate.

Instead his argumentation reminded me of similar pro Nazi views where everything Nazi-German was good and all the rest was not!

  • Thiis matamoros77 is probably a modern russian facist. But he could have been a "good Nazi" if he had been German. His aggressivness is quite similar!

  • Correct, the Sherman was weaker than the Tiger, due to strenght in numbers Allied won. The Luftwaffe couldn't make up the losses under the pilots. RAF-men jumped over their own country or close to land. Germans were captured or lost at sea.

  • @TheNovaAxon

the sherman was NEVER desighed to take on other tanks...its was a infantry support vehicle. so if the MkIVs cood best it..the Tiger was a no brainer.

  • @kenns9

    Yeah right....

  • @kenns9

The Sherman was designed to replace the M2 and M3 and had to coop with all the Axis tanks at that time. The Tiger was not present at that day yet. A tank is a tank not an infantry-supportvehicle like a halftrack or a truck.

The original name is the M4 Medium Tank. I really do think it is a tank....

  • @TheNovaAxon

the heck the Tiger wasnt not present...dont you remember the African campaigns!!! the Tiger fought in Tunisia, and the M3s and 4s were there!!!

  • @kenns9 Yes i do. The Tiger was introduced in september. A month after the first battle of el Alamein.

  • 85% of german forces were destroyed by the Russians. There were more British troops on the initial D day landings than American and besides Germany had already lost the war by then. The biggest American contribution to defeating Germany was probably the 8th airforce's bombing campaign.

  • I don't think you guys get it. The democratic English Speaking Peoples -- USA, UK, Canada and Australia generally hang together -- particularly against totalitarians. They combined to whack those lowlife Nazis -- no one won it by themselves -- they did it together.

  • Quite right 1926Donal! Despite all the apologists for the "delightful Nazis", that democratic English Speaking Peoples system worked. We might forgive, BUT we do not forget! Nor do we forget those who stood with us when they were needed. And we remember the one who did'nt!!

  • yrhen and this goes for you too brit fag we will stomp that fucking little island of yours in 2012 ,youre just a bunch of faggots only good for sucking dick and drink tea hahahaha fuck you

  • Well now matamoros77, there's something to look forward to! See YOU in 2012!!

  • pfttt shut up usa shithead you didnt do shit in ww2 we did the job pussy shit, we won ww2 ,and we will kick your ass anyday moron , nothing can stop the mighty mother russia fuck you and stop taking the credit for what we did

  • the best pilots in the world

  • If it weren't by those 10.000 aircraft gently sacrified for the cause of Uncle Joe Stalin by Stalin's lover Roosevelt, (plus 400.000 brave Americans), you poor brits would be here & today spèaking German.

  • Pretty high handed comment given that Hitler had previously signed the non-aggression treaty with Stalin. What a cute pair they made! Trouble was Hitler jilted Stalin only to find that with help of the US of A and the Brits, the Soviets were not a walk over. Maybe those Nazis should have learned to love the Communists more faithfully?

  • True fine deep-finned reflection, fella! You end (pretty ironically) saying exactly the sole and unic unarguable fact: That WAS the real impossible love.

'Cos everyone knows how brave W. Churchill was about an inche to puke when facing how sick fan of Stalin Roosevelt was.

(Average americans always used to forget this... and I can cop it perfectly).

Another fact is that all of us escaped from nazi's hell by America. We oughta be honest!.

  • It must be quite galling for all you dear Axis and Neutral posters, that this "incredible and most feared airforce" was shot out of British airspace by RAF weekend pilots and our real friends worldwide in 1940. Special reference goes to our Italian friends who tried to sneak in with them and got their flying grand pianos shot into little pieces! How we loved watching our "inferior" little Spits and Hurricanes chasing them all back home where they belonged with their tails between their legs.

  • first of all I am sure u havnt seen shit...furthermore without the US u couldnt have done it.

    think about it...

  • Sorry to burst your little juvenile bubble nookiex6, but I grew up on an RAF base surrounded by Spitfires, and the pilots who had saved our bacon in 1940!

I don't need neutrals to tell me what shit I may or may not have seen. We thank all our friends who fought for us in 1940 when we needed them, whilst many others hid under the bloody blanket! and that goes for all those who tell us about speaking German. Poor Brits indeed! More guts than most of you will ever know if you ever had spines!

  • even though they lost, i doubt they were an easy enemy to beat

  • The Luftwaffe had an incredible Air Force and some amazing aircraft: ME-109, Junkers 188, ME-262 but in the later stages of the War the P-51 Mustang became the best propeller driven fighter on the battlefield. The ME-262 could have saved Germany if produced in mass and deployed by 1942. Hitler's insistence to make it a jet bomber, allied strategic bombing of the Messerschmitt and ball bearing plants delayed the fighter considerably.

  • @TubeBoobforyou p 51 best prop fighter of the war blah blah blah is just a myth of the yank morons ,bf 109 coud outurn ,outclimb ,outgun that pos ,and is a 30s design ,ta 152 totally owned p 51 its only real rival was our la7 or yak 9

  • Most WWII historians are in agreement that the P51 Mustang coupled with the Merlin engine was the best prop fighter of the war from either side. I never said the BF109 model was a bad fighter, it was quite good in many respects but also had some severe shortcomings. First and foremeost bc of the canopy configuration, visibility was horrendous for takeoff/landings. More BF109's were destroyed on the ground bc of accidents than in actual combat. 1/3 of the BF109's crashed on either landing/takeoff

  • pftt most ww2 historians? you mean most brit yank historians haha, the erla canopy of the bf 109 offered good visibility ,not excellent but good, more destroyed bf 109s in accidents bullshit another yank myth , man come on bf 109 is the ride of the best combat pilot in history, hartmann ,thats says it all, look for the video here in tube Skip Holm interview about Bf-109 thats the truth about crapstang

  • Wow, your posts here show how ignorant you really are and obviously incapable of rational thought and/or debate. The facts and history do not lie, so feel free to keep on dreaming. Everything I have said is true/accurate and can be referenced amongst historical records from numerous countries. It's also obvious you have some anti-US/Brit slant which is pointless when comparing machines based on sheer capability. If you would like to compare the engineering specs/loss ratios, I'm all ears.

  • @TubeBoobforyou ignorant?hahaha youre an imbecile pal so you think that because i criticize the jew usa media im ignorant? history? history is a fable, it can be revised, just look for the video Skip Holm interview about Bf-109 thats not theory moron thats a fact proven by a real bf 109 p 51 pilot ,bf109 is more than a match for mustang

  • Yes, these were good aircraft but good ol' Uncle Joe (killer of more Ruskies than Hitler - what's that? An own goal) decided not to test the USSR against the West. Could it be that he thought the combination of Western naval power, air superiority, the B-29 and the atom bomb were just a little too daunting? Yes the Red Army fought hard and long against Hitler but please remember the highest rate of Allied and German causualties in WW2 were in Normandy not the East. Read Learn Think

  • stalin was a scumbag thats true, but wanna talk about own goals? how about your civil war where your geniuses killed each other for a bunch of negroes hahaha, come on too daunting?who the brit asskissing fags?? or you? our bomb was ready in 48,we beat the best army in the world the german army who are you compared to them? hahaha

  • Really very noble to fight a war to free a helpless people. May I remind you sir, that bunch of negroes are Americans along with wogs, wops, brits, paddies, scots, etal. Please never underestimate the vitality of the American peoples which form a distinct contrast to the economic collapse of communist Russia and its slow return to strength.

  • youre telling me to read and learn?? 1926donald hahahaha normandy the highest rate of casualties? hhahahahaa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA everybody knows the eastern front was the worst killing no mercy wasteland in the history of mankind ,and you say it was normandy?hahaha how old are you 12?

  • by the time p 51's became mainstream the Bf 109 was already out classed, it was under powered and had to high a wing loading to cope with the addtional armour and wepones is had to carry to keep up with the needs put on it, e.g shooting down bombers. the bf 109 was a great design but was a 30's era plane, it was adtaptable but by 42-43 it was easier to upgrade n make do rather than re design which was needed.

  • @TubeBoobforyou not really. Pumping unrestricted investments into immature technological R&D can certainly improve the pace of progress, but cannot guarantee the solution of all problems inherent in new technology. The story of jet engine development in Germany during WWII is a classical example of premature introduction of immature technology into operational use. Germany's lack of the required chrome, nickel, cobalt and molybdenum meant poor jet engines.

  • luftwaffe-was the best air force of the ww2 and i m not german i m romanian-----+++

  • i think as you and im not German Either im Swedish and from all the Planes of ww2 i love the bf109 most it looks good and from 36-45 i was 1 of the best Aircraft in the air!

  • @larjet55

    when it fought the poles..yea!

  • @larjet55 ...no they were not...they were good but the britishs airforce defeated them with less airplanes....i can say that cuz im austrian :P!!! and im proud of it

  • @larjet55 japanese pilots one of the best during ww2...

  • @larjet55 true. I was looking on Wikipedia at the list with WWII air aces and the Germans are ahead of the others by far. Hartmann is #1 with 352 kills, then at a long distance are pilots of other countries. In comparison, 1st US ace in the top has "only" 40 kills. Germans were bad ass.

  • @jackatube One has to put it into the perspective of number of flown missions. If one do so, german aces' kill ratios are not different from western allied aces. I do agree that the experienced german pilots skills exceeded those of the western pilots. Some were truly mindboggling (Rudel). By talent exposed to sheer massive experience. This was offset by better US/UK aircrafts (from mid-war onwards). And, as newbie, the average allied pilot was much better trained.

  • @Vermiliontea yes, I agree. I remember an ace pilot veteran saying that their high kill ratiohad a lot to do with the fact that they had a lot of missions. if an allied pilot got shot down, he would get a 1 week leave. if a german pilot got shut down in the morning, in the afternoon or evening he would be back in a new plane in a new mission. The had several missions each day and sometimes they were awake for over 24 hours in a row.

  • @jackatube ...fighter aces have little to do with winning a world war assclown. Only 12yr olds fapping in their Mom & Dads basement over nazi fagtard luftwaffe aces get excited over fighter aces. Congratulations your officially gay!

  • @fluffy1931 On the contrary, if Hitler had given his jet fighters top priority like he was advised to do it may have altered the entire course of the war. It was one of a number of crucial mistakes he made which cost Germany everything.

  • @VileIntentionsUS ..,no it wouldn't have. Germany never had access to the strategic materials in quantity needed for the 004 Jumo jet engine which powered Me 262'. The 004 Jumo average total operational engine lifespan was a measly 7-10hrs. The jet fighter being made a top priority are not - would not change Germanys lack of chrome, nickel, cobalt and molybdenum. Germany just like in ww1 was under military & economic blockade with no chance to access these materials.

  • @jackatube : Allied pilots had a maximum time in service; germans could not afford that. Moreover, German aces had wingmen to protect their tail/side/etc . That was good tactics, but not so good for the unfortunate wingmen who had less options to score victories, and therefore less options to glory. Nevertheless, all my respect for the top class German aces.

  • @larjet55 But is not just that. As one German veteran explained, it was not just skills or tech, but mostly the fact German pilots had a lot more missions than allied ones. For example if an US/UK/RU pilot got shot down and was not wounded he would get a leave of several days. If a German got shot down and was not wounded, he would be back in combat even the same day.

  • @larjet55 Romanians were NAZI pigs

  • mave.foorumi.eu

  • @larjet55

wasnt romania allied with Germans? ahah

  • @larjet55 that why germany got bombed back to the stone age by both the USAF and RAF ?

  • Germany should have a permenant seat in the UN.....

Permenant seat in theh UN means the country can sell weapons and start war....

All Permemant seat countries now are selling most weapons of the world...

But why not Germany selling many weapons with this high tech?

  • Luftwaffe was a tactical airforce and was never designed as a strategic airforce which would have required four engine heavy bomber and long range escort fighter. The Luftwaffes bombers He 111,Do 17,Ju 88 designed with dual requirements of having to also carry out a dive bombing role? The added requirements increased production and performance problems. Even He 177 Grief had this design requirement of having to have dive bombing capability?

  • GRACIAS

    Vssssssss

  • If i'm not mistaking, itz a Me 264

  • To be more on the money It's a Me 264 (V1) They were working on the Me 264 M6 which had 6 engines designed for north american attacks 2:41 is my fav ..The Me 262 with radar for night attacks on bombers
