  • it isnt a machine gun...

  • Good to know. I jumped the "gun" and ordered the case from Auto Ordnance thinking the rifle would come in a plain cardboard box!

  • I just ordered the same rifle. Did it come with the case or did you buy that separately?

  • @moondogger1 It came with the case and the drum mag and the stick mag.

  • sweet gun. im jealous. must save more

  • How much did this whole set up cost?

  • TNX a lot for the review. Where is part 2?

  • what website or where did u buy this thompson?

  • sexy gun

  • (grabs rifle, grabs file)

    semi auto? I THINK NOT

  • i shot my thompson and im happy it shot great.

  • just got mine today it looks preetty cool my grandfather used one in ww2.

  • How many grains r those 45 cal. ?

  • @zeek3177 Sorry, a have no idea, its been a while since this was filmed

  • @zeek3177 230 GRAIN AVG 45 ROUND

  • @zeek3177 230 FMJ

  • i want to buy one with real drop mag but oh wait i live in CA. but planning to move to a free state. how much do these go for..and what about reliability?

  • @kp7100

this ran about 1700 and came with the drum mag and the stick mag, I havn't shot it a bunch so I can't comment on how reliable it is. I had a few jams but it is still in the brake in process and I was using cheep ammo. The Ar-15 is going to be a more reliable and acurate gun but you can't beat this for fun to shoot.

  • kermit the frog reviews a tommy gun?

  • @sourcemaster YEP and he's Bad Ass !

  • Semi auto. I thought it was full auto.

  • semi auto i thought it was full auto

  • When are you doing the second video

  • My god the 50 round drum is heavy enough. I couldn't imagine a 100 round drum . . .

  • Man, i wish these kind of guns were legal here in Sweden. Looks amazing, probably feels amazing aswell.

  • I would love to have that as a collection

  • They shoud pack it in a violin case.

  • love this gun. bit expensive though. they could put some polymer parts in it though. and some rails would be nice

  • how much was it

  • @carriontribe Around $1700

  • i bought a violin case for my thompson

it's really neat. Go on TommyGunnerdotcom

  • Great job. Just wished you would have spoken louder. And maybe it'my iphone ? Getting mine in about 10 days, can hardly wait. :)))) Thanks

  • There is no such thing as Class 3, technically. The name only derives from the distinction an SOT dealer would need to sell any machine gun made after May 19, 1986.

  • how many rounds do you have through it. im thinking of buying one

  • Lol 5:00 to 5:04

  • This video makes me think how nice it must have been to live in the 1920's when anyone could buy this in full auto!!

  • Is this a Real Tommy Gun

  • how much was it

  • This the 1927 version right?

  • semi audick

  • Ak-47 is a lot better rifle. The mags are cheaper and it is easier to cock.

  • I want this, however the UK is extremely strict on replica fire-arms.

  • Mr. Aunsell, please get a tripod so you're not struggling shooting a piece while holding your cam. I'm pretty sure you can afford it seeing you have all those great expensive pieces.

    I'm just sayin'

Other than that, great job on the infos!

  • Mine works best with stick mags as opposed to the drum.

  • Ilove my tommy gun I own this only have a 50 round drum! The best money I ever spent! i only wish I could buy one everyday!! thanks for the video!

  • lucky bastard......

  • just dont drop the drum,,,,i have a 1921 a,,fixed butt stock,,,long barrel,,,i wonder if can put on a ten inch barrel.....any body know.

  • @edgeof1 Nope because that automatically makes it a class 3 weapon, and you have to regester it as such, or go to jail if you get caught :)

  • Thank you,,,,,i saw the thompson machine pistol,,,lol,,maybe next one.

  • @aunsell I dont think it owuld be a class 3 because its still semi auto...BUT, if you get a 10inch barrel it becomes a SBR(short barrel rifle) depending on the state you live in your can get a SBR permit for a few hundred bucks.

  • @StealthyTyler0425

You're right. The class 3 license is only $200 bucks for the tax stamp and any SBR is classed under class 3, the only difference is the actual price of the gun which is way!!!!! less than the full auto version

  • @StealthyTyler0425

Auto-Ordnance offers a short-barreled variant of their Tommy gun.

  • @E2theSamps Yep and you still get to regester it as a class 3 and pay the $200 tax stamp as well as fill out a large application

  • @edgeof1 I think yours a 1927 version of the thompson. Cause 1921 doesnt come in a long barrel.

  • @edgeof1

Yeah tell me about it. To replace the 100r drum is like $600-$700, not exactly cheep

  • Where did you buy this, and how much did it cost?

  • Thank you for the review. Is it that hard to put a new mag in with the 30rd stick?

  • Not really, just removing it if the chamber dosn't lock open, then it is hard because you have to hold the bolt back with one hand and the release lever with the other and then pull the mag off.
