The thing is, even IF Obama was not a Christian (which I believe he is), what difference does it make? If Obama came out tomorrow and said he was a Pastafarian & it wouldn't matter one bit as far as our Constiution is concerned.

Our Constitution allows, with its freedom of religion cause, anyone to run for & hold public office - even POTUS - regardless of their religious beliefs or affiliations.

There is *nothing* in any of our core laws that says you have to be a Christian to be President.

Instead of always just dismissing out of hand and hatred, a book that you have no or little knowledge of, you could at least try and read it so that you can come up with decent objections to the material it contains. The Bible is at it's very least a History book. Try reading it as such.

Read the Bible for it's Historical information and you might be surprised. The Psalms are poems of mostly love. As God has made us, he knows us inside out and I mean that in every sense. This is reflected in Psalms.The first time I read them I was floored. It was like reading a poem today as if time had stopped. There are many more surprises to be found. Just try reading the book. It can't taint you so why fear it so much? How can you fear what you don't know? I will never understand.
