How to unbrick your Semi Bricked wii without a modchip

ok I try this but I put my game in, it says nothing, I turn it on and then the I get a black screen. this happens when I turn on mii channel, wii shop channel, etc. what do I do please help!

A while ago my wii couldnt play backups anymore. I tried to go to the process to make my wii run backups again, but then when i finished that. I couldnt load the Homebrew channel anymore. Lucky enough, i had neogamma channel, but when i loaded a game on it my screen went green etc etc can you help me please?

use savemiifii. You'll have to break a Gamecube controller in order to do it though.

i have 4.2U firmware and when i put my sd card in and try to work with the homebrew channel(wad manager) and turn the wii off, it stays on, and i cant turn it off. i have to take out the plug. this also happens when my sd card is in and i go to data management>channels

And, after playing NSMBW, Bootmii stopped working, some original channels (weather) will freeze your Wii after opening, and the same goes for Wii Settings. You got an error page, while it's just giving an annoying sound while freezing.

Does this method still works?? (I have a 4.1E Firmware)

Thats called a Full Brick. Now unless if you have BootMii, PreLoader or a infectus installed with a nand backup your screwed.

Will this method work on my Wii? The reason I'm asking is because I softmodded my wii for homebrew (I used the Twilight Hack method to install the Homebrew Channel, because I didn't want to use a modchip) prior to Menu 4.0, updated it, and now it is semi-bricked.

Semi-Brick:Out of region update(you are like 2.0E and you install a update from a USA game then you are semibricked)

Full Brick:That depends...you can have a banner brick by installing a wrong wad(see my other vids) or another one that is UNFIXABLE!

Okay, this didn't work. Here's the situation. I tried to play Animal Crossing Wii US on my Japanese Wii, and it installed an update. I've tried all your methods, but it remains bricked. Is there another method to overiding the US update?

hmm...the method with CIOS Down/Upgrader should work if you pick a firmware with the J at the end...Animal Crossing has 3.4U on it so try downgrading to 3.2J
