@bigkumba he's great, no doubt about that, but the best player should be able to produce in crunch time. quite frankly, lebron james has a weak 4th quarter presence than--let's say-- kobe bryant. to be the best player you have to be able to finish games, and lebron just isn't as good a finisher. kobe is still the best in the league today because he's clutch, and he has an endless repertoire of moves. lebron finishes with athleticism, kobe uses his basketball iq.

He was the leading scorer in the 4th quarter his last two seasons in Cleveland and the many game winning PLAYS against Washington, Orlando and his Game 5 against the pistons. I remember he blocked Kevin Durant to win the game. He blocked Brandon Roy to secure. Nobody ever calls him the best scorer but hes the best overall player. Kobe used to finish because of athletic ability until he lost it.
