@MRELTUCO I am very lucky I live in a small town where crime figures are very low, so low that we don't even have a full time Police Station. No cctv cameras either, not anywhere. The population is only around 15000 and we all look out for each other it's a real community. I have to go up to London to see a Consultant and when I do I feel totally safe on my own and the people are really friendly, always have a smile and are helpful if you get lost. Every country has it's problem areas. :-)

Point 1, this was the Labour Gov.....and it won't happen now as we have a Gov that is refusing to go ahead with ID cards and has even consulted people online so we can have our say in what laws we want GONE. Labour brought in a lot of nasty little laws and even sneaked one through just before they lost power. If I lived in an area where troublemakers made life hell I would have a camera in my home pointing at the street. Many buy their own.

@MRELTUCO I am very lucky I live in a small town where crime figures are very low, so low that we don't even have a full time Police Station. No cctv cameras either, not anywhere. The population is only around 15000 and we all look out for each other it's a real community. I have to go up to London to see a Consultant and when I do I feel totally safe on my own and the people are really friendly, always have a smile and are helpful if you get lost. Every country has it's problem areas. :-)
