hi there. we went out quite alot to be honest but we did other stuff like going up dumyat (the hill behind the uni) hmm we also went out on day trips to edinburgh and cinema and stuf, ur usual really...macoberts centre has alot on but iv not taken full advantage of it.
on the friend front i became better friends with my housemates but some of them are also on my course so no doubt you will have friends in both.
murray hall doesnt hav ensuite but im sure it wouldnt make a difference as long as you made the effort to get to know folk.
There are plenty non scottish folk..infact we were the minority in our kitchen..invaded by english and northern irish haha. where are you from? what are you applying to study?
im quite gutted, i feel like im missing out bit time lol. i have just completed my first year at stirling but becuase i don't live in campus i don't really have much of an experience so far... i just go to when i need to for lectures and that.. :(
hi - i was thinking of coming to stirling uni...
what other things did you guys do (apart from drinking:P) on nights and stuff?
do you become better friends with your housemates or people on your course?
are the people in en-suite rooms kinda withdrawn from everyone else (cause someone told me that all the people in en-suite never go out bla bla bla)
and are the majority of people there scottish - like will i be the only non scottish person in my hall? thanks for any answers :)
