    Yeah man, putting a little swing in is okay, even good, as long as you only do it on those last 2 or 3 reps where you know you can't complete them without implementing a swing. It's much the same as using a spotter to help when your nearing failure.

    Obviously if you swing for every set of every rep your cheating and looking like a fooool :)

  • Just wondering, and this is in absolutely NO WAY a critique, especially from someone who looks like me to someone like him, but at around 10:30, there's some swinging/back coming into play during the curls. Obviously, we're very close to failure at this point, but is it okay to add a few swings on your last few reps of your last set if you absolutely have to for progress? I was always taught from the school of super strict form reps count only. Answers appreciated.

  • @Hoish999 You don't absolutely have to swing on the last few reps to see progress. I'm sure you know already, but you really want to focus on stretching the muscle on the way down and the contraction on the way up.. Squeeze the hell outta the bloody thing, then close to the end of your set if ya have to swing a little.. No big deal ;)

  • hey rob great bicep workout :) i got told that once the muscle fibre is broken down it cant get broken again? my trainer said only 6 total sets on biceps? because its a small muscle group, and he said i shouldnt train biceps and back together cause when i do my back im using my biceps and when i do my biceps the muscle is already broken and if i train then il be overtraining?

As crazy as it sounds that's what Scott Herman is all about. Except Scott announced, about a month ago, he's going to start bodybuilding to get as strong as possible.

  • @codmastermindgrant well greg plitt is/was number 1 fitness model in the world, and he has got alot of motivating vids but he doesnt really give you that many tips and hints unless you buy a membership at his website, if you just want motivation, then greg plitt could be a good choice even.. rob gives alot tips and hints and he is also motivating to me and im sure he is to alot of other people as well, if he isnt to you then why are you even here watching?

    Eat clean and proper, train strict, get enough sleep. Over time you have this result.

  • @coldheartless1990 He has been training for 7 years straight. It's quite possibly to look similair to him in that peroid. Or even surpass him. Remember he is a fitness model in first place, not a 250 pound bodybuilder. He could have been alot bigger in the time peroid he has trained.

  • @laurenssius Ok well you're wrong, it isn't 'quite possible' because if it was then all the millions of 'bodybuilders' accross uk and america would look like this. Because believe it or not gyms are actually filled with people that have trained hard for 10+ years and haven't acheived anything worth talking about.

    Just because it might be a possibility for you or me doesn't mean it is for people with average genetics (my grandad was an Olympic runner).
