Hydrogen is a fraud. It was pushed by the oil industry because they know it will never be inexpensive nor practical.
Range is too short, its too picky about temps, and hydrogen is hard to store and transport.
Its a cynical ploy by the oil industry to keep us on gas for another 100 years. The last thing they want is battery powered cars because they are actually practical and the energy source comes from coal, nuclear and alternative energy.
Batteries cut the oil industry out of automobiles.
Another teat for the drivers of the world to suck on? No thanks, I'm fine with solar. I guess I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't emit ANY kind of greenhouse gases... sadly, even steam is a greenhouse gas, one of the worst ones, in fact, because of water's high heat capacity.
im not too sure about this... if the biproduct of the hydrogen car is water, doesnt that mean the sea level will rise if the planets car population is replaced with these things??
"Of course building the infrastructure to" bleed the public of their hard earned cash at just another kind of pumping station... blah blah blah.
When we show that we can refuel these cars ourselves for free from solar powered electrolysis they will quickly vanish from the landscape, IF they ever make it into production in the first place.
