Very interesting. The Sioux and Assiniboine call this fry bread, and corn pone is made similarly except corn meal is used. I have always fried it thin like a pancake in a very small amount of oil, but I think I will try baking it...in my solar oven of course. Thanks for the great info. Beautiful country.
