How can you even judge Chesters singing of "Jane says" when the only videos floating around have terrible audio, You can hardly hear Chester and the guitar is terrible.

I think theses guys covered this because they really like it so I don't have anything bad to say about them. I do think the original was better. It was faster and more importantly more urgent sounding. That 2 note thing that Dramarama does didn't need anything added to it.

Kind of like Metallica covering the misfits in a way.

It was originally done by Dramarama a sorta 80s or 70s punk band can't remember which decade, I've heard it but definately prefer this one, I like the way their music is stripped down to the bare essentials =]

Like I said, it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking simply for a better- put- together song, I do agree that its obvious that this group is more talented with their instruments and vocals. I just like the way the original has more feeling behind it. It sounds more from the heart to me, and that makes sense since they are the ones who wrote it.
