I was responding to the "Sequel" question.
I would prefer NO Sequels, since very few have matched the initial film's creative story usage. The "new" usage is larger stories with portions in 3 movies.
BTW, Cars 2 -- the sequel is in process, did you know that?
You already pointed out that Toy Story has "2" and soon to have Toy Story "3".
Well in WALL-E they say that MANY ships were sent out in space. This story only focuses on the premier ship AXIOM ...
So, for a SEQUEL you have the ability to send WALL-E, EVE and his mis-fit robots into space to these other ships (bring them home? find them? tell them Earth is OK?)
These ships still have A113 and their AUTO and GOPHER robots working --- on these ships.
With the exception of toy story 3 (I hope), PIXAR don't make sequels for the sake of it, either to please fans or make more money. They are on a certified fresh streak here, and one hiccup and it's over. Once they make one bad movie, it will never be the same.
Definitely, Wall-E was one of the most awesome films I have ever seen! So was Up, but i hope Wall-E gets a sequel. :D (And I agree, whoever does Pixar's music is amazing)

@caprice6 I meant best overall picture. Pixar is king of animation, but I'd be hard pressed to say they're not king of the entire fim industry. I want to see it happen. Best picture goes to Pixar.

it's a story about robots that have hearts and fell in love and save humanity. pixar is just genius!! it melt my heart.... sooo beautiful! :)

Wall-E definitely is one of the best movies I've seen, but my biggest beef was a lot of the scientific inaccuracies. But hey, that's what Hollywood is meant for.
