You do know different instruments give off different sounds right. so being that there are only three instruments: drums, keyboard, and vocals, that kinda of makes a big difference. RATM was played with electric guitar, electric bass, drums, and vocals. I guess that's a difference.

The sound of the keyboard here could be accomplished using nothing more than an octave pedal and a filter. So in terms of sheer songwriting, it's not different. It sounds like a Rage song.
