The reason it's being settled out of court is likely due to the fact that she waited too long to go to the police. Rape is a very hard crime to solve, considering the fact that even with evidence, it's possible the the alleged victim is lying.

It has happened in the past, though it's rare, generally when the defence attorney feels they have a good shot at winning and/or the prosecutor doesn't know what they're doing.

There's some inconsistencies in her story, but if it's been settled out of court then the criminal proceedings failed and she moved to civil proceedings. This is the likely situation since she waited so long to report it. So a CIVIL rape case can be settled out of court. That doesn't mean she isn't lying. I don't know myself, but those are the possible legal facts.

She has never claimed to be a set therapist, though that's what she says she's studying for. On her main page she even says she's not a professional in the field. The titles of her videos and somewhat flirty attitude don't prove, or even hint really, that she's fake.

The reason it's being settled out of court is likely due to the fact that she waited too long to go to the police. Rape is a very hard crime to solve, considering the fact that even with evidence, it's possible the the alleged victim is lying.

There's some inconsistencies in her story, but if it's been settled out of court then the criminal proceedings failed and she moved to civil proceedings. This is the likely situation since she waited so long to report it. So a CIVIL rape case can be settled out of court. That doesn't mean she isn't lying. I don't know myself, but those are the possible legal facts.

it's hard for me to refute that when again you've seemed more interested in name calling then anything else, I can't take you seriously to be honest. While you express empathy, EVERYONE experiences rape in a different way & your attacking a personal expression of her feelings, not her call to arms after the fact.

You say the LLC is fake. But I can find it. You say she is evading her taxes. But the Texas Comptroller says her LLC doesn't owe any taxes. My research indicates that the owner of an LLC is like a sole proprietorship, income can be listed on her personal income taxes (Federal, Texas doesn't have an income tax) so I don't see how you could know what she is or isn't doing about her taxes.

Google "revised texas franchise tax" and select the link of the same name. Click on the Franchise Account Status button. Enter kicesie in the entity name box and click the search by name box. Click on the resulting kicesie,llc link. Click on the Certification of Account Status button. You'll see she owes no taxes.

I've never registered a company in Texas or anywhere else, and I guess I don't care. These guys are claiming kicesie llc doesn't exist, but I found it as soon as I looked. They are claiming she is evading taxes, but the state of Texas says she isn't. Think for yourself. Do your own research. Go over her old videos and comments. You'll see these guys are building straw men.

Because there wasn't an LLC when this was all checked on. It didn't exist until February 11 of this year. There is a screen shot from January proving this on the Encyclopedia Dramatica article. You'd know this if you looked at it instead of blanking it.

I fail to see how the victim of a crime would be required to raise funds to pay legals fees. Aren't all criminal matters related to the prosecution paid for by the state/federal levels of government, even including the DEFENSES legal fees?
The ONLY time one pays for legals fees is for
1) DEFENSE in a criminal matter where the defense attorney is not provided by the state/federal government
or
2) A CIVIL lawsuit, either plaintiff or defendant
