I've known about the govt. drug running since I was in my 20s. My brother in law was a sheriff deputy assigned to vice, and told us all about how when he developed a case against large drug runners, nothing was ever done and when he complained, he was transfirred to another case. He finally got so disgusted he quit the force after 8 years.He never went into the top sheriff's office without being wired so he would have some protection against retaliation about his arguments over non prosecutions.

"Farming for ourselves" is a bleak way to conduct agriculture, as that was what farming mainly was in the 1930s and before.Now one could argue that large,sustainable & effective farming companies can arise in such a situation,but I'm not quite sure if that is what you would particularly like under your proposed system.Also needed to be pointed out is that most of the farmland today is owned by private hands of differing sizes and scopes- there just isn't land out there that's "free to use"(pt 3)

With internet access under your tribalism, remember how it is done today may not translate over too well.
For example, you probably pay a bill to a large internet service provider. Once off the grid, off the map, out of the postal system and unrecognized by most institutions, it would be very east for the ISP to simply cut off the connection currently provided by fibre and copper tubes. This is not to mention how bandwidth and website hosting is to be dealt with, or how ISP bills are to go(pt4)

Legalization(or at least decriminalization) of drugs would defund drug cartels and exponentially decrease the number of addicts over time. Everyone knows that prohibition has never ever worked. I have no doubt that there have and are low level corruption incidents with drug cartels and the like. But drug cartels secretly having a significant amount of power in the fedral government? It's absurd! They are rich with shady motives and under the radar, but they don't even compare to the mega corporations with far more resources that would love to sway the feds their way.

End the war and legalize the shit. We would have less non violent criminals clogging up our prisons. The police and court can have the time and money to deal with real crimes. We could control the quantities instead of prohibiting them so that way fewer people get sick through contamination and overdose. AND we would eliminate the huge black market that is corrupting the world.

I'm not sure about the whole prison-industrial complex theory, but there is absolutely no doubt that prohibition of any sort creates violent crime and damages civil liberties. Everyone should do their part, and plant marijuana everywhere in order to make unconstitutional laws unenforcable. Government property in particular should be heavily seeded. That way, not only do we force the feds to spend money removing them, but we disrupt the operations of the host facility

In the 1980s and early 90s, there's proof that even CIA selling crack into ghettos in many US places so they could use profit for contras to fight against Nicaraguan government.
