Allow me to shed some light on the situation Grey/Gray will most likely be the name used for the rehash of Black and White I doubt they will do a remake of Emerald based on what they did with past generation remakes but I'm sure Ruby and Sapphire remakes are coming.

For what is the question though Black and White were released on the deathbed of the DS right after the 3DS was announced, but Emerald a rehash of Ruby and Sapphire was released on the GBA so these remakes I'd have to say DS not 3DS

They arent gonna remake emerald. They always only remake the first two game, and not the third. They remade red and blue, not yellow. They remade gold and silver, not crystal. They will make ruby and sapphire, and eventually when nintendo comes out with a new retarded game system they will remake diamond and pearl, NOT platinum.

Look It's more then likely that they WILL make remakes to Ruby and Saphire versions for the GBA.This is my reason why. Pokemon Red and Blue/Green where the first Pokemon games released am I correct? Then a Couple years later Gold and Silver came, Then Ruby And Saphire. But what I'm trying to say is Gamefreak are remaking their games in a order. The first remakes Fire red Leaf Green then Heart Gold and Soul Silver then next it will definitely be The remakes of Ruby and Saphire.

Why do people keep wanting a 3rd gen remake? It's completely unnecessary, unlike the first two remakes. The first two generations had to be remade, because you weren't able to transfer Pokemon over from those two to the 3rd gen and beyond, due to the coding and values being different. Remaking the 3rd generation, though, would be pretty dumb, since you could bring Pokemon over from the original games, and have them in the remake.
