Though, I do have to amment, when I first seen footage of the werehog teaser trailer, I imedently stopped buying new sonic games. @ravensonic300 Hey now i have the Wii version as well as the Xbox 360 and PS3 version and i still like the Wii game ALOT, personally i don't see anything wrong with it because i still get plenty of enjoyment from playing. Yeah granted it's not as good but then again i'm very easily pleased i guess.

@Gordingracht Sonic Unleashed is not the kind of game you would want to play over and over, and that is because of night time. It is much better to play through it once and completely ignore the fact that night time exists, only playing daytime acts for fun.

@Gordingracht The Werehog isn't really bad, or boring. People just have this illogical preconception that Sonic is ALL about speed. Trust me, if you like beat 'em ups, you'll like this game. It has like 35 combos when maxed out and it really adds flavor to the combat. Not to mention the secret stages which a little harder for the Werehog in the night stages. The secret Day stages are also harder, but less impressive.

sonic team stated that they found the errors with past 3d sonic titles and fix them and Will put all of the good things in those games into sonic colors. they also said that sonic colors will be best 3d sonic game yet.

in colors their are careful platforming like the old games and their are exploration like the older games. the power ups allows you to do exploration to obtain hidden items or enter different pathways. how ever the power ups are completely optional.

i base my roller bade skills off of sonics skills like doing quick steps and doing a suden burst in speen and grinding on poles and i also sometimes mack a cool track that i race through like i go then jump of of a ramp and land an a short rail going down and then skating around and finding other things to grind (noobs dont try it my dumb ass got a concution doing it the first time and then i tried it again but i digress) any way ya its awsome and i feel like sonic doing it!!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno about the PS3, but in the 360 version, you can definitely notice some framerate issues, especially in the water sections. Not game-ruining, but you can definitely see it.

Blue Meteor Achevement is quite reasonable to get after going  through the level a few times and fixing any mistakes you make. The really annoying one is Speeding Ticket.

Agreed, althoug the day stages still need a litle improvement. Nothing really serious though, just bring back the "stunts" like in SA2 (you know, secret tricks to earn extra points, like this game´s QTE but not automatic), item capsules, the classic items (speed shoe for infinite boost like mario´s gold mushroom, green, blue and red shields, invincibility, the bomb that kills all enemies on screen... you know, the classic sonic items) etc you know, those things that used to spice up gameplay.

I think IGN do not give good scores to games unless they are paid to do it. Prime example of this is Sonic 2006 it is rated 2% higher than this even thought it had a ton of gliches, story was poor (a woman kissing a hedgehog is not right in any context) and your favorite loading screen appearing every 2 seconds. Where as this game is a much needed improvement yet is rated 2% lower than a half broken one.

dude, your ring count and rank was good, but the time was kinda slow. u gotta get faster if u want to beat the lv3 time mission. also, if u don't take damage, u can get over 900 rings.

This run is kinda lame. :/ As long as you make it through without dying you're pretty much guaranteed an S-Rank.

I have two complaints:

1. Why couldn't Sonic the Hedgehog '06 be like this game???

2. Why did they cheat the Wii version out of levels like this. This looks better then the Wii version stages (wtf man)

1) Sonic 2006 was rushed to meet the release date which shows by the amount of gliches in it.

2)The Wii version cannot handle some of the stuff the PS3/360 can.

There's a story around the Internet somewhere...I believe that the developers originally intended for the PS360 version to be more superior than the Wii/PS2 version. It had to do with sales, the PS360 was a lot more expensive to make, the Wii version was MUCH cheaper to make, and they knew the Wii version was going to sell like hotcakes, which it did. So they had the Wii version's sales make up for what the lost on the developement of the PS360 version.

Actually, the PS3 version is "unlocked". The 360 version is set to run at 30 FPS at all times, while the PS3 is allowed to fluctuate. So it can reach 60, but drops a lot more.

Yeah it is basicly the same for all levels as so long you do not get hit too much the sheer number of rings you collect gives you 50,000 points alone.

It does that on PS3 as well thats because the hedgehog engine cannot handle alot of things happening at once. Hopefully they can improve on that for next time.
