I know numerous families in which this is the case and I can honestly tell you that nothing good has ever resulted. Not because people tried to prevent them but because every single individual involved in one of these "relationships" has or ended up with severe mental disorders. They destroyed other uninvolved families, like mine and now the only family I have left is my mom and brother.
