hi, i use to be in the scene. i walked for fem queen performance dramatics and realness.the ball room scene can make you or break you. alot of young girls self esteem depends on the ballroom scene and i feel that is sad. many times when i walked the girls wanted to fight me and sometimes its the girl u call your sister. i had to get out that lifestyle, its just not for me. im working in the nurse field and i keep to myself.
I am glad that you found a way out. I don't like the scene either. I mean, it looks so fun & exciting, only to make your heart and leave you feeling sad. Very sweet that you are working as a nurse.
One more thing, I believe a real house should not depend on how conceited or mean they can be to people. It should be made up LOVE & KINDNESS for anybody. A person that is new to the scene will respect you if you're genuine, and not venomous. I will never be mean to anyone unless they are. I'll always try to be a good person, even if someone isn't. Any fool can hold a microphone and chant in the limelight, but what are they made of? How many people really like them? Are they good people?
