Actually the song was recorded last year by Joel McNeely. Performed by Chris Thile and his Band Punch Brothers with Gabe Kahane on piano. It was recorded at Avatar Studios in Manhattan which was followed by a Orchestra sessions and final mastering at famed Abbey Road in London. Unfortunately it was a custom piece made specifically for Disney, So its gonna be hard to get a mastered copy. LOVE it thou!! Beautiful piece of music.
For those interested... the familiar sounding part of this song is that it's a semi-cover of Young Turks by Rod Stewart. Its changed significantly, but its Young Turks.
Disney may be sometimes overly expensive in many aspects, but it is completely worth it. The park, the cast members, and the memories you take home will always make you forget every penny you spent. A child's world and imagination wouldn't be complete without Disney, and for that, it's priceless.
This is coming from my heart. To me Walt Disney World and Disneyland is made to make families come together make them happy. Thats what my family feels when we walk to the entrance. God bless you Walt Disney. Thank you for making my childhood end with a happy ending :)
dont ask me why but this just made me cry even my 19 yo bff started to freak out when i told her i booked a 2 day trip to euro disney instead of turkey
There is nothing more precious and innocent than a kid laughing and getting excited, especially when going to the most magical place known on earth. This video shows how much we as parents are willing to go to put a smile on our children's face. I wish one day I can take my kid over there because definitely I, as well as she, will remember it all our lives.
Every time I see these secrets I cry! I'm 13 years old and Looking at the happiness of these children and the smiles on there faces are precious to the mums and dads! Hopefully someday I will work there so I can spend every day in the happiest place on earth! I have been to Disney world twice now! It's 9/10 hours on a plane but it is so worth it! I LOVE DISNEY!!!!!
Oh my goodness, I started crying. I'm a 16 year old who still loves Disney with all her heart and I am hoping to work there in a few years. Who doesn't want to make children's wishes come true??
This really got to me last night just brought me back to simpler times and made me realize that one day i'm going to be a part of that a reason that this vacation is so special. I'm waiting to hear back from the Disney College Program which would be my first step in the right direction to my dream of working for Disney World in the future.
Hehehehe, awe gee. I love Disney so much! All of the giggles, laughs and smiles make me tear up and giggle myself. The diversity of families and friends that you see at Disneyland/World, and they all have that same smile on their face, touches my heart =)
These adverts make me teary. I bought tickets for my 7 & 9 year old nephews a couple of days ago and I can't wait to surprise them. I will definitely be recording their reactions to the announcement and hopefully they'll be as excited as those kids in the adverts.

This perfectly sums up why I love Disney: Disney, at its best, is happiness. Look at the joy on all of their faces- makes me cry every time thinking about my own magical, joyous memories.

this commercial gives me the chills. the first time i saw it i almost cried. now i just get this feeling thats like chills through my body... the magic of disney :D
The cutest one is the girl in a black jacket standing there trying comprehend what just happened and then finally realizing she's actually gonna head to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Makes me want to cry because I just got hired to work at Disney. It is my dream come true, and I'm happy to be a part of the company that makes people of all ages be so happy and feel the magic!! I LOVE DISNEY!!!

I miss Disney World so much. When I was little, We lived 20 minutes from Disney Land. We moved to Florida and lived 3.5 hours from WDW. We went 3 Christmases. It was amazing. Seeing the Electrical Light Parade again (first time in 5 years) made me cry with joy. in 7th and 8th grade we went to WDW for a feildtrip, but my friend didnt want to go on Test Track. Haven't been on since 5th grade. I am a sophomore in Uni. I miss you WDW. I love you forever and ever. xoxo - Me.
I loved this video because for me, like so many others, my love of Disney came not from simply the enjoyment of the parks, but because of the memories I created and shared with my family. My fondest memories of growing up was the time spent with my parents in Walt Disney World, and it literally changed who I am today. Now, i look to make new memories with my own children, and pass that legacy of good times at the parks on to them. We understand what "Disney magic" really means
I want to go to Disney soo bad!! This commercial makes me cry when I see it because I remember how much fun I had there when I was about 9 :) I wish I could go back in time to remember it even more. Disney truly is magical.
@penguinwebkinz I know what that's like. I go to Disney World a lot because I live in Florida, and Disneyland looks fun. Disney World is fun, but I hope to go to Disneyland one day. Disney World runs like its own city, the way Walt Disney made it when he saw tourist traps and such popping up around Disneyland.
While most of us can agree that Disney's beliefs were questionable at the least, I think we also can agree that his movies created happy memories for a lot of people around the world.
@mexijoe10 actually i love your cheerful attitude ( really i do) but it says orlando university on the bottem so maybe they did maybe they didn't but your kinda right because if they got the university shirt they live in orlando so maybe maybe not
@MrNoah54 lol. I live in Florida, and I'm sure there is Orlando University, but I can't see all that lol... and Hey as long as that little girl got to go somewhere, thats all that matters.
hmmm....memeories....i think i'll take a video camera and avoid spending thousands of doallars and whatch everyday life unfurl. nothing beats riding that first bycicle, or baking chocolate chip cookeies with grandma...or (in my case) playing with a chicken lloll. i'd much rather do that then spend money and get suckered into making memeories that way......im not dising disney i love the commercial, but the message they're getting across is ...pay money...make memrories....maybe thats just me.
My family used to be together like this. It was full of happy memories of togetherness and comfort. Even though we are broken apart now from divorce, my father's deppression, and my brother's autism, I will always look back on the happy memories. Even though I can't have that for a lifetime, I will make sure that my children do. I will always put my family first and make sure my children know they always have a family that loves them.
Awww, I think I'm crying inside. :') My parents surprised me when I was a kid (second grade?). They picked me up from school and wouldn't tell me where we were going. I didn't know until we got off the freeway and I saw the Matterhorn. Great day, great memory. :)
I cant remember my first time to Disney World :( I was only 2yrs old when my family went. We never had another opportunity to go to any Disney Park my entire life. Now I am 21yrs old and working at the Walt Disney World resort and get to go to the parks as many times as i want to. I think i'm making up for lost time :D
I wish I still had my memories of Disney World... unfortunately, my parents don't get anything and took me and my sister there before my sister could even talk :(
i remember when i first got the news about going to Disney World i was screaming and i was excited i will never forget the moment of which i went to Disney. Never EVER!!!!!
PS: i was crying in the video i was omg i remember when i went there for the first time XOXOXO walt disney
I wish my parents had recorded our surprise when my brother and I found out we were going to Disneyland! They said we were just going on a little 'road trip'. They had a list of all these places we might be going and we narrowed it down. It was so fun!
i remember when i first was offered to go there. It was Christmas and there was a note in my stocking. I went over to read it and it was a whole think about how mikey was inviting a bunch of people to see him. It said that he had a special family of 4 named Me my bro and mom. (dad set it up) and me and my bro flipped out.... my mom cried =) good times.... good times....
no other place in the world brings out so many memories and feelings in people (specially kids), not even other theme parks. disney parks, please never let the magic fade away!
I just watched this and it made me cry so hard. I miss going to disneyland. I miss the magic. I miss everything. I miss the days my parents and I worked there, so we could get in for free... Now we have to know somebody to get in.
I miss my childhood. I miss everything. I Have so much birthday memmories at disneyland... ;-;
This makes me cry so hard...I don't know if it's odd, but it seems that my family is built around Disney. My parents aren't together anymore, but my happiest memories of them together were always at Disneyland when I was little. I miss this so much. <3
@potteryourotter yeah but once you hit that part of your life when you stop believing anymore and once your past that it is never the same as when you were a kid even if you try its not the same.
I still had fun when i went but it was 10 years after i stoped asking that i went it was not the same
@blaming94 That's not entirely true. I'm 18 and still get excited. I went with my aunt, uncle, and their 4 and 1 yr old and I get what your saying but seeing them believe and seeing them see everything in their eyes really makes you do so as well
@nikproject72 don't wait for the kids. it can be magical to see the look in their eyes when they first see the castle or mickey mouse and blah blah... but you'll be more care-free and will probably enjoy yourself more if you go by yourself (no kids, i mean) first. then when you have the kids, it'll be a completely magical and different experience
I went to Walt Disney World in febuary of 2009 for the first time and it was amazing I loved it and I do feel lucky to have gottten the opportunity to experience the magic of it all and I hope someday vist there again.
I'm not being funny but this video made me cry!xxxx

I wish my parents had recorded our surprise when my brother and I found out we were going to Disneyland! They said we were just going on a little 'road trip'. They had a list of all these places we might be going and we narrowed it down. It was so fun!
lauraliz89 1 year ago
i remember when i first was offered to go there.

This makes me cry so hard...I don't know if it's odd, but it seems that my family is built around Disney. My parents aren't together anymore, but my happiest memories of them together were always at Disneyland when I was little. I miss this so much. <3

nikproject72 1 year ago
@nikproject72 IT IS NOT TOO LATE! you don't have to wait till you have kids, go now if you can. :D
potteryourotter 1 year ago
@potteryourotter yeah but once you hit that part of your life when you stop believing anymore and once your past that it is never the same as when you were a kid even if you try its not the same.
I still had fun when i went but it was 10 years after i stoped asking that i went it was not the same
blaming94 1 year ago
@blaming94 That's not entirely true. I'm 18 and still get excited. I went with my aunt, uncle, and their 4 and 1 yr old and I get what your saying but seeing them believe and seeing them see everything in their eyes really makes you do so as well
GoofyIndian92 1 year ago
@nikproject72 don't wait for the kids. it can be magical to see the look in their eyes when they first see the castle or mickey mouse and blah blah... but you'll be more care-free and will probably enjoy yourself more if you go by yourself (no kids, i mean) first. then when you have the kids, it'll be a completely magical and different experience
