@davidmuel11 jb welded it in this vid. i used a free 3/4 shaft clutch from a buddy to make it work. i was 12 man haha. once i had some money i bought a 5/8 clutch and put it on correctly

@mastax1234 your a fucking genious man. your shitty ass chinese pit bike is a 4 stroke air cooled fail ass motor. i dont think you understand the differences between a 2 and 4 stroke. all that space in the bottom of your BADASS dirtbike's motor is filled up with oil. this being a 2 stroke, there is no need for all the extra space. theres no cams, valves, or anything else. this is pretty much the simplest motor you will find. its a 2 cycle reed motor.

there is a vid on youtube here of a guy that took an old electric scooter used the sprokets from it and bolted a chainsaw motor on it and he is seen going 50+ MPH with his buddy in a car behind him taking video and he pans to the speedo and damn if it wasnt 50MPH. Final drive ratio+RPM has everything to do with top speed and how fast you get there.

Im guessing it has gears huh? hmmm all that caclulates how fast you go is your gear ratio, the engine rpms, and the size of your tires. More power will just get you there faster with the same type of transmisson. i could build a 20cc go kart that could go 300mph but it would take FOREVER to get there

what is the gear ratio on ur scooter? my minibike can do 45 and accelerates pretty quick cause i have a low gear ratio but i want it to go faster.

45 mph or kph? anyway it has a 10 tooth front sprocket in the fron and a 36 tooth in the back. the final gear ratio is like 3.6:1. but i would recomend a better ratio then that unless u have more power.

u should tape on a longer straightaway to really top the engine out. Or u could change to back sprocket to a bigger one and have better acceleration. i can tell the engine has alot more rev in it. Nice job though!!

If you haven't burnt you leg on the exhaust its coming.

You have to insulate or build an aluminum cover, Oh and go to a bike shop and buy a throttle cable, even if it does cost 10$+ it worth the money I turned the vavlve with my hand for a while 2.

This is an old video i have a normal muffler on it now and yes i did burn my leg once on the straight pipe. I also have a mini bike twist throttle on it now. The video was shot a long time ago but i didnt put it up till recently

You should sand blast the whole frame paint it or even better power coat it. would help prevent rust. and look sick.

Thanks for the comment! ya the clutch slips alot at first so the accelleration sucks. The gearing is for all top speed. 10 tooth in front and 36 in back. But the top speed is great with the high revs the little two stroke puts out. 45-50 mph. the gear ratio calculator i have sya that it is supposed to go 54

The front sprocket is a 10 tooth centrifugal go kart clutch, which has set screws and a keyway that hold it on the shaft, and the back is a 36 tooth bike sprocket
