  • where you hunt what state

  • @TheJamesbrant Thank you very much.

  • Do you do this as your living or a hobbie?

  • @90BUTEL Its really more of a hobbie.

  • Love your vids. I'd wish hunting with air rifles were allowed in Norway! One question, how do you use the camera? Do you have a tripod or do you hold it in your hand while you are shooting? Impressive job on the recording what so ever!

  • @mortensatriale I use a tripod and mount the camera to my scope to get the shots on film.

  • @HuntersVermin Thank you. Looking forward to your next vid!

  • Beautiful country. Great vid. Hope to make it to Ireland some day. Thanks again for work you put into these. You make it look easy.

  • @MrCauphy Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the vids.

  • 4,5 o 5,5

  • Hi HuntersVermin wassup very good vids will have some hunting vids up myself soon

  • what air gun do you use and what flb is it

  • @Ollayyyy I used a Theoben MFR air rifle with 30ft/lb in .22cal pcp powered.

  • nice vids man what kind of gun do you got?

  • what do you do with the birds and rabbits you kill??

  • @killer1inch I eat some of the rabbits and all the wood pigeons, my cats eat some and the rest i use as crow bait but i don't eat the crows and magpies as they are not a very clean bird.

  • @HuntersVermin thanks for a reply could you possibly post a video on how you prep and cook all the wood pigeons please. do you give the food to your cats raw ? just wanna be on the safe side keep up the good vids really enjoy them

    thanks

  • @killer1inch I did intend to do a vid on cleaning and cooking wood pigeon but didn't get round to it yet though i do have two on cleaning and cooking rabbit. I give my cats the meat raw just the way they would catch it themselfes.

  • @HuntersVermin ok thanks when will you post the vid on the wood pigeons (is it the right season now (i havent a clue) or will it be an a few seasons on ?

  • @killer1inch It might be well into next year before i get a chance at any wood pigeons again.

  • @HuntersVermin ok thanks for the info keep up the good work

  • Why don't you use bipods? Good shootin! :)

  • @MiCHeaL97C Thanks, the two rifles i have are bottle fed which are hard to fit a bipod to and they do add a bit of weight to the gun so i use a short set of shooting sticks instead.

  • what do you think would be better for rabbits at 12ft/lbs pcp .22 or .177

  • Great vid, i live in Canada and your not aloud to use anything over 500 fps without a firearms license and I'm thinking about getting a hunting license would a 495 fps airgun be enough to kill small game such as rabbits

  • @630soccerfan If you stick to a .22cal air rifle it should give you about 8.6 ft/lb of energy which is low but if you stick to about 25 yards it should be ok with a well placed shot.

  • i have a .22 12fp air rifle and i can hit 10 pence at 70yards with a 6-24x50 scope on it what rage do you think i could take a rabbit out at

  • @taidgh15 You have the accuracy but at 70 yards that pellet is starting to really run out of steam so i would stick to 45-50 max if you can shoot well enough for a well placed head shot at that range as the littlest bit of wind will blow a pellet off target easily at that range.

  • i have a 42 foot pound air gun

  • @karinaboo490 That'l knock the rabbits over no problem.

  • Some of your video and the way your dress, remind me of world war 1 scene with the old building, it makes it just that much better.

  • dude man i watch your video near every day plz make more aswone videos can u tell me wat video maker u using so i can try it thanks

  • only two rabbits?? haha i get about a rabbit every three hunts here.....there really isnt much for a rabbit population here in kentucky

  • Really good bid m8 I shoot with a BSA ultra 177 at 12 lb I can take a rabbit out on a calm night at 60 to 80 yards do u think it maybe over performing ?

  • @scottthrower No, at 12ft/lb an air rifle should just have enough power left for a clean kill at that range with a head shot, the real test is if it and you are accurate enough to place the pellet in the right kill zone at that range.

  • another great video, **** WELL DONE MATE****

  • @setanta1954 Thank you.

  • @soixe1997 why don't u get a shotgun like 12 410 20 or 28 gauges. Or a 22 rifle like a long rifle, short rifle or mag. Just a suggestion

  • @dougsoutdoors A shotgun is a bit noisy for me and not much use at 50 yards plus some of the farms i shoot over are very small 4-5 small fields with houses near by so a rim fire might be too much gun for the job.

  • do you use a mil dot scope and if you do does it help when shooting varied distances

  • @LovetoHunt2000

pyramid air i recommed air venturi bronco for a starter

  • @LovetoHunt2000 I shoot rabbits on farmland that i have been given permission to control the vermin on. I use a Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle but a good spring powered rifle would be best for a starter gun. You could have a look through some of the airgun magazines like Airgun Shooter to get an idea what there is to buy who's selling it and cost.

  • It's not just about shooting, wildlife is all around.

    Nice one HV .............. t

  • @tadpoles10 Thank you.

  • Brilliant once again !!

  • @daystatesniper01 Thanks.

  • Where is this,,, I mean the county

  • @spinosmen County Antrim Northern Ireland.

  • @nriggs1000 Most rabbits in the UK like to dig their burrows into a hedge line or some sort of cover, so these are the places you need to look for sign of them, like rabbit dung and freshly dug holes and scrapes.

  • Do you eat the rabbits after you kill them? If so how do they taste?

  • @JubJubkiller09 I eat some of them and my cats eat the rest. They taste abit like chicken.

  • @HuntersVermin Thank you for your response mate!

  • @HuntersVermin No, rabbits have a specific taste in bosnia,,, better than chicken :)) no really they are better

  • so, im getting a gun, co2 .22, when im done tuning it, it should shoot around 13fpe, and this is legal cause im in the states, what would you say would be a safe range for rabbits with it?

  • @soixe1997 If you mean 13ft/lb of energy then it would be powerful enough for rabbits out to 35-40 yards with a well placed shot to the head or heart.

  • i going to be hunting ground hogs with the marauder and raccoon at friends house there eating there his trash

  • hey dude i be geting the benjamin marauder in 22 and the pellets i going to get are wasp magnums in 30grain it will do 700fps out the marauder and how many fpe is it going to do

  • @rcaragman Your talking about 32.6 ft/lb of energy.

  • Hi, i use a Bsa R10, what would you say is the longest effective range on the air rifle

  • @Danielboy40 At the 12ft/lb power range i would say about 40 yards is the longest effective range but it really depends on how accurate you are with the gun and the farthest distance you can group all your pellets inside and inch.

  • Hi, I use a break-barrel Webley Xocet and i'm very into shooting. I'm 14 but I'd like to upgrade to a pcp. A friend of my dad is selling a BSA SuperTen for £300 with all the kit. Is it worth that much or should I look for something else. Your videos are great to watch and your a headshot master! Thank you Jack.

  • @1996JackDavies So long as the gun and gear is in good condition that would be a good price as the gun alone new would have been about £500.

  • wow thats a messy head shot on the first rabbit

  • I have been watching your vids for some time now and really like them,i kinda feel like im there with you keep up the great vid,s

  • were did u get the shooting stick from

  • @tomysnipa101 I made them, have a look on my channel for a video on how to make them.

  • Great vid as usual. You obviously put a lot of time into making and editing them, and it shows.

  • @HuntingFPS Thanks, glad you liked them.

  • i must admit these videos are a good watch, well shot and well presented. just to prove its not all about the kill well done.

  • @M4DDISON Thank you very much.

  • do you reccomend .22 or .177 ?? thanks

  • @danj1011 .78 is what Ius

  • how many rabbits do u kill a week

  • @dustrock0725 At the minute only 4 to 5 as i haven't been out much.

  • Hi,

Just came across your shooting videos and I must say they are excellent!!! Not only re they very informative, but they are well put together and edited(something which is a rare find on Youtube these days) Please keep them coming as I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys watching them ;-)

    Michael.

  • @Drpepper99uk Thank you very much for a lovely comment, glad that you have enjoyed the videos.

  • What river was that BTW ?

  • Great videos, the fact that your retracing your steps over and over while setting up your camera to film yourself for your comentary... Very well done !

Keep up the great work my friend...

  • Do you cook them afterwards?

  • great video buddy!! i have a question do u have any tips on how i can practice, i just tried printten out some pictures or crittters and shot at them but i dont have a scope and i was trying to aim with regular aiming and its pretty hard to see the rabbits head. any ideas how i can pratice?

  • you should get a setup for a scopecam, would be nice to see how you aim

  • how do you set up the camera in front of you when your walking wouldnt you already have to walk where the camera is set it up then walk back and then do what the camera sees?

  • What range do you normally zero your scopes at? I have mine at 25 yards but have been needing to shoot at the rabbits further away as not to scare them. Cracking Vid as always pal

  • what gun did u use there? co2?

  • @hein127 I used a pcp powered .22cal Theoben MFR.

  • nice video as always. what is your max prefered range for the rapid?

  • @clarky4492 I always like to get to about 50 yards for a good shot but in good conditions i might go a little farther.

  • great video and great shooting, could you please give me advice on what air rifle i should buy,im looking for a cheap and easy rifle, just starting out hunting thanks.

  • Hi mate, could you do a video on how we should zero a rifle, to what range and how you adjust for different ranges in the field. I've been missing some easy shots recently in the field but don't seem to have the same problem on a practice target.

  • @Stevieb390 That would be a good idea for i vid. But you need to practice at different ranges on paper targets to see how much your pellet drops or rises to know how much hold over or under you need. Plus you need to practice in the same shooting stances that you use when out hunting.

  • what air rifle do you use?

  • DO U NEED A LICENCE TO SHOOT RABBIT WITH AIR RIFLE??? (PLS)

  • @dani375fps You don't need a licence to shoot rabbits with an air rifle in the UK, you do need the permission of the land owner who's ground you are shooting on. You do need a licence to own an air rifle in Northern Ireland though. Have a look at the air rifle codes practice on the BASC website. w w w. basc .o r g.u k

  • @HuntersVermin thanks mate nice videos

  • what scope zoom do you have?

  • NO DISLIKES!

  • nice video

  • @carlthomson1964 Yes you don't always have to kill something to enjoy the hunting experience.

  • Which video recorder do you use. The quality of the footage is very good.

  • @Plorticus I use a JVC 330 with a 30gb hard drive memory but they don't make it any more as its two years old now.

  • Ever thought about raising your own rabbits rather than going out hunting? The land you're hunting on looks to be loaded with grass.

  • @just1transfan The land i am on is owned by a farmer who wants rid of the rabbit as they are eatting the grass that is used to feed livestock in the winter.

  • mint vid mate i have some land now 5 or 6 rabbits every night with my air arms s310 mint night

  • another amazing video keep them coming are you planning on and pigeon decoying

  • @flamefinger1989 Yes i hope to do some more pigeon decoying latter in the year.

  • All this time I thought you were using an Air Rifle below the FAC requirements. Now readign one of the comments above I get the impression you are using a FAC registered Air Rifle?

  • @eohinyorks Yes i am using a 30ft/lb Theoben MFR.

  • Once again another top vid m8.jealous as hell the gun looks brill.just waiting on my f.a.c ticket, what gun would you reccomend?.

  • @MrDiablo1968 Theoben and Daystate have some very high powered air rifles in their ranges plus there,s also the Airarms s410 and 510 Xtra high powered models.

  • Another great vid, I always feel like I am out with my own gun when watching. It looks like you are still using the AccuCover? Cheers N

  • @AccuCover Yes i like the cover as i have my aim points marked on a sticker inside the cover so i can see them with very little head movement when the cover is open, plus its very good at keeping the lenses clean.

  • nice vid as always HV keep them coming

  • @MrDie1968 Thanks.

  • @tazlmc Thanks.

  • @billybob16000 Thanks, i try and get to about 50 yards for a shot but i have taken shots a little farther than that on calm days.

  • @MyBigshooter Thanks glad you liked it.

  • Another great vid mate what camera have you got attached to your scope 10+& thumb up

  • @eusousoeu Thank you.

  • @tulleh It is a custom one that Tony at Sandwell Field Sports fitted.

  • @flyod26 Thank you, glad that you have enjoyed it.

  • Another great video. I would have to say that your videos of air gun hunting would be the most professional on you tube. I really enjoy watching your vids. Its really good to see someone promoting the sport in a very safety conscious and professional manner. Well done, keep it up.

  • @Baldric990 Thank you very much for a very nice comment indeed.

  • @frankieperry They are a smaller pair but i have also a video up loaded on how to make them as well on my channel.

  • Great demonstration of fieldcraft. Reminds me of my own time in Ireland, beautiful and green but always grey and cloudy =)

  • @8UP1977 Yes it can be very wet as well but i guess thats why its so lovely and green at this time of year.

  • What river was that?

  • @kidri0t I think its the Maine.

  • Very nice hunt, but if you has a scopecam it will be bether than never.

    \m/.

  • @bmbjunior Thanks but i don't think i could shoot well enough with a camcorder mounted to the back of my scope as it looks very awkward.
