If the government wants to make gay marriage legal they should legalize civil unions, if they legalize civil unions, then the government and the government alone acknowledges a homosexual union. That's why modern Christians are left trying to rationalize even the more irrational ideas in it.

IMO, if the world wasn't so bigoted, and kids weren't getting raised in an environment that said being gay was wrong, or a sin, then more people would at least be bi.
Honestly I think bi is the default, and being more attracted to one person over the other is a different form of sexuality, I myself am gay, but I know plenty of straight guys with high pitched voices. It's simply harder for them to hide it.

It addresses THE main issue of homosex marriages:What about the children? No child needs 2 parents of the same sex, they need 2 parents of opposite sexes. How else would they understand the concepts of the male/female relationship, if not from their own parents?

@sooperfukker Excuse me? Just because someone is raised in a single-parent home doesn't mean they will land in prison. Many kids raised in single-parent homes turn out to be successful and MANY kids with a mother and a father fuck up and land in prison.

I apologize. I know you didn't say that these children become gay themselves. That's an erroneous idea that others have suggested on this site, so I was responding to them with my comment. But still, your idea that they turn out disturbed is still contradicted by the evidence we have. But adult development is to a large degree predictably by level of adjustment as teens and young adults, and they're looking pretty good so far.
