  • does anyone know the track about a man who came back to find his house had rented the loft for a party in chicago.the lyrics kinda go ' it was a long time ago 86 87 i dont know...... and i noticed there was a lot of people standing around in lines. i had it on vinyl but to my regret i sold it and cant for the life of me find a copy any where.i not sure but i think the dj playing in the loft was frankie.

  • @Goyvaerts2011 i'm looking up for this track too...can't remember it either. i had it several years ago, but now i fail to find it.

  • No. If you're gonna upload the music, play it at the original speed.

  • There's nothing like old school Chi-Town house music. 81-93 was a great period for house heads.

  • U said it! too much techno euro inspired crap

  • @migvaz71 techno euro inspired crap is detroit techno inspired crap

  • the original was was being played somewhere around 81-83....if you listen in the song he says "the 1015(2:10) is waiting" ...anybody partying at this time knew what 1015 was......1015 N. Halsted...the Powerplant....this version was NEVER played in either the Underground nor The Powerplant by either Frankie or Ronnie....and Ronnies choice was Waiting On My Angel

  • sexy voice! awesome song! i want to dance

  • roots guys....

  • They kinda copied the melody of Farley's - Jack My Body on this one.

  • Wow, I don't ever recall a Chicago House Jam using a Linn Drum??? Nice!!

  • Swing Family - Sunrise FM - London

  • actually this is'nt the original version, this is just the one released for public consumption, the original has a slower, moody, dark club tempo and is waaaayyyy better than this watered down version. sorry but its true, I was there in '87 when ron hardy premired the original version and we lost our mindz, frankie never released the original and it is VERY! hard to find.

  • Isn't the original, slower and never released version you speak of already posted up on YT? If not I can post it up for headz to hear.Let me know as I am lucky enough to have all the original unreleased and demo versions!!

  • jeah please post it!

  • This was the house anthem of the early 80's. Chi-Town was the capital of house music. This was and still is the SH--!!!

  • Awesome.

  • Awesome! Straight posted to my Top-Log!
