Give me more of a look inside Gaza. How do they live? What is it like? I want to understand so that I can tell other Americans what kind of suffering is there and that our staunch support of Israel is misguided and fueling the destruction of a society under siege since 1948 (and before).
This is bullshit. They didn't mention once that the reason is Israels role in this. They blame it all on extreemism, but what about the fact that as soon as Humas took over Israel didn't let anyone in to work and the huge wall they built around the border making it effectivly a jail in Gaza. Why don't we see in depth coverage like this the west? The impression one gets (from western news sources) is that all Muslims in the middle east are raving Islamic fundamentalist who want to live like it was the 12th century again. This report clearly shows that a large segment of the Gaza population, while true to their beliefs, want to live in a modern and sane society. Non of this going to be simple to resolve...
these people bring these troubles to themselves by choosing a bunch of thieves running their country. They keep all the money to themselves rather than spending it on their people and then they blame others for it. In a way I also feel sorry for their ignorance and their religious beliefs.
