  • Man i can remember getting this cassette and H.E.A.L. for Christmas....Used to bump this hard in my 83 Honda prelude

  • Funny as hell

  • vevo dafak

  • very good man it's love song

  • What's the deal with that fucked up horn? Maybe I've been def all these years but this is not the version that I remember. Not feeling that new jack vibe at all.

  • @0achtfuenf10

no it's the the original version, but black sheep is well know for using Horns in their music.

  • @0achtfuenf10

Thanks you! That horn spoils the track.

  • I See You Later Unless I See You First.

  • This is not the version I know. The lyrics are different. I like my version better.

  • Classic material!

  • this song/video classic, this real hip hop!

  • G*ddamn- Vevo ruins EVERYTHING with their lameness.

  • Vevo sucks. and so does this remix.

  • DOES ANYBODY KNOW THAT THAT IS A FAGGOT DRESSED UP LIKE ELISE?

  • @7771SB like the song isn't explicit enough haha and the video just tells it without words

  • THE SAMPLES SOUND SO GOOD TOGETHER, AND DRES' FLOW IS VERY ILL.

  • @7771SB , no doubt.

  • That's how I like it! Ya feel?

  • This is a boom tune

  • Red light basement party- 1st ever!

  • Elise Neal, Elise Neal...............

  • @common380 Holy Sh*t! I've been watching this video for years and never noticed that was Elise Neal!!!

  • Different eras, different vibes... these guys had the 90's rockin to fat beats..... Now this is a new era, I still come back to the 90's b/c its just a great era of talented artists, mc's, beat makers, etc..... Nothing can compare.....

Totally appreciate each era for what they contribute, but todays artists have lost lots of luster in their delivery!

  • Still makes me laugh my ass off! Funny shit!

  • @S1ngefou I was in 8th grade when this song came out.BLACK SHEEP was very popular. And dont worry about when u was born. All my dad talked about was the 60's. And all I do is drive my kids crazy with early 90's hiphop. And when u get older all youll talk about is these days here. Lion king science,...circle of life.

  • The original is way better . . .

  • Check out Elise Neal (the original video girl who made it big) with her fine self. She still look good today.

  • Classic arrogant intelligent hip hop, anyone who disses ,yeah like you never had a girl after you ,you didnt like, and if that never happened to you, you got no game!

  • LOL, funny song funny video! One of my favs

  • i thought Daft Punk made those beats

  • lets talk about how great these tunes were back in the day and not about the shitty people these days...we already know they suck, just enjoy and soak in the REAL music.

  • why is everyone discussing Kanye in here. only good thing he does is making catchy beats practically anyone can listen to. Not nearly in the same league of Black Sheep. Go spam about Kanye under a Kanye video -.- not worth ruining black sheep

  • If you guys look back in the 90's they talked about sex just as much as they do today BUT, you were never know because they weren't so straight forward with it and the music and lyrics were so good that you didn't care anyway. Now a days the music and lyrics is trash and they are too dumb and uncreative to come up with words other than Fuck and suck.

  • @spyda7591 you should look for better music, theres tons of artists left that make some great and excelent hiphop/rap :) just dont bother with hip pop

  • The album version is so much better

  • kanya is just a iluminati devil worship

  • i cant find this version at all

  • @Berserkscarlett this song has many versions (Def Mix, Street Mix, Hot Mix, LP Version (or Original), No We Didn't Mix, Yes We Did Mix...). This is Maybe We Did Mix (and names are no joke), very similar to the original.

  • Been there done that let me say it reeeeal slow gottago

  • I love the end where the strobelight girl jumps on the back of the car and Mr. Lawnge starts to throw up a little.

  • Nice nice.

  • Look at Muthaf*kin Elise Neal playin as the deceivingly gorgeous silouhette of the strobelight honey.... WTF hahahahahaha

  • smooth

  • dam havent listened to this in years. love the groove but cant believe the producer let those horns float out of key......sometime 90s sample stacking got out of tune 4 no good reason

  • @veuvecliquot OMG I thought I was the only one who noticed that!

  • We'll see who stands the test of time, as Black Sheep has... in 20 years who will we remember?

  • This reminds me of one time at Club Metropolis, in Queens, NY...

I was with Alfred/Tony/Angel and some Birds...

Yo, Angel went to the back Patio, which had a little " mini Beach ", and kicked it to some Birds from Brooklyn... Alphabet City, to be exact...

  • @LeoAgentTheDirector

You are just popping up with all these stories ........ hmmm wonder what else you have to say? lol

  • Yo !!! I was working security at this little Colombian spot at the time.. In Main Street, Flushing ( DISCOTECA AQUARIUS ).... And I didn't do SHIT, except ask people for ID... I wasn't getting shot for $ 70.00 Dollars... FUCK NO!!!

We went to Six Flags Great Adventure, and by the 3rd ride we rode, I was necking this Czechoslovakian Bird named VIKTORIA... Wow, she was taller than me...Back then, things like this bothered me... So I dissed her after a month and a half... MY LOSS, in Retrospect...

  • Man, We had a BLAST !!! Coney Island, at night.... We saw The Mummy, part 1... I sucked Tits by the mid-point of the motion picture...

    What a summer... Sigh....

  • real hip hop used to be this good...but then it got clear channelled and illuminati-ed...

the old days can come back, it can happen..

  • Never ever heard this version. Had the tape when I was in 5th grade. Loved it but had no clue what it was about. Now when I hear it, I laugh at what that album was all about.

  • @rico3198

hahahahaha yeah man, exact same thing right here..

I got this casette at a local skate shop when i was young,(together with KRS One - Return of the Boom Bap), And ever since i've been in LOVE with hiphop

  • FUCK DRAKE YOUNGMONEY EXCEPT TYGA AND FUCK LEBRON

  • @tubingbass LOL! the last fuck you was so random it got me.

  • Love the samples

I Like What Your Doing To Me-Young & Company

    Take Your Time-SOS Band

    Glow of Love-Change

  • Comment removed

  • nice mix in the backgrouns ....sos band, luther vandross

  • this

    song is bad

    YO HUNNY I GOTTA GO

  • Ah for the dayz when hiphop was fresh, the artists had dope rhymes with a sense of humor and the beats had groove.

  • @ 1:31 Elise Neal, Tia from All of US

  • gotta go...miss these days!

  • wow i never seen the video, its practically got a new verse from dres when he was the KING

  • This is the real deal. This reminds me of high school. The crap around now just sucks ass.

  • old school track is hot

    love the old school beat!!!

  • It's sad that this song/vid is being degraded because people are more busy bashing Kanye than listening to the actual song. It's cool if you don't like Kanye, but at least give credit to Black Sheep before making a Kanye bashing comment. Totally unrelated.

  • MAN! This use to be my jam!

  • @tumeka1979

    word

  • i cant find this version!!!!

  • woulda been funnier to have Jamie Foxx's Ugly Wanda character in this video!!! even tho he wasn't on In Living Color during the 92 season, just an observation!

  • "When u see a honey by the strobelight, black I hope u got good sight"...

This video was and still is Comedy, Dres and the Mista Long put kats up on game with the "Strobelight Honeys".

  • ol skool youngins!!!!

  • Oh my damn!!!

I remember this....the title sounded familiar but just couldn't catch it till I saw the MAN in drag and heard the chorus....I gottagoigottagoigotta GO......whaaaaaaaat!!

  • I think this is my favorite video... the music, the lyrics, the NYC '90s club scene....

  • S.O.S ... band - Take Your Time! Black Sheep was tha shit n still is cuz real artist n their music never die!!!! Dres!!!

  • "what area code is that"

    "one-nine-hundred..."

  • hmm eminem seems to barrow ideas from black black sheep

  • @Anonymous473 i noticed that

  • there r like 3 different samples on this joint. I've always liked this version. Definite head nod joint.

  • does the one guy look like mos def? or is it me

  • @TheSackwrinkle Hell No!! He looks nada like Mos Def!!! and the one guy...SMH....His name is DRES!!!

  • I hate this crappy remix!!!!!!

    i want the original!

    dammit man

  • The album version is better.

  • @zerotta No Doubt

  • @zerotta Waaaaay better.

  • true dat VVV these guyz are underrated -_-

  • I wonder If you all understand the song and not get lost in the beat...lol

  • classic.. 1992

  • wtf? this aint the original version

  • this video and song was very funny

  • lol yo this video anf this song was so funny

  • y do i never get highest rated comments :(

  • Hey, Kanye years ago with Late Registration and College Dropout was awesome. Graduation was pretty good too. Now he's just an asshole though.

  • i agree kanye is a complete douche, he's th skid mark on these guys toilet seats when compared in talent

  • @irishmen44 ... Pete Rock is shittin on Kanye anyday

  • @snoopdog44144 you got that fucken right

  • @snoopdog44144 Hmmmm....gotta disagree with that one bruh...Hate Kanye all you want...He's the dude on them boards....But he learned and grew up from and studied cats like Pete Rock...hell all us 90's kids did, it's all good...no need to compare and compete. Pete Rock, Diamond D, Large Professor, Premo, DJ Quik, Ant Banks, Battle Cat, Rick Ruben...they're all dope! He knows it and we know it. They made sampling, soul sampling , looping, blending and layering what it is today.

  • @BigBeanSS ...Kanye is garbage, end of story.

  • This is classic hip hop right here.

  • JackHauss, you nailed it. I'm glad someone said it. Thank you.

  • press f5 to skip comment

  • Fuck Vevo...

  • @m33lover why? great quality.

  • but you gotta give him credit for making a set of mini-blinds into glasses...kanye is a douche...and really when you get right down to it, no one now-a-days can hold a candle to anything hip hop from the 90's..

  • I wonder how many people can remember what a Similak Child or a Strobelite Ho is

  • i love soo much that song funny video and nice groove

  • Damn, why can't we have songs like this today.

  • I prefer the mix on the album to tell you the truth.

  • Yo I'll See You Later Unless I See You First.

Favorite Line And It Cracks Me Up Too.

  • Classic!! but yo..Dres is about to release a new album in June.. he just released an e.p. too .. he has a dope new video for a song on it called Doin It Wrong... it's incredible... check him out on whostheblacksheep . com .. hip hop for real

  • @TheNYAce Real stuff here! Thanks!

  • what did obama say??

  • Man this is going to be my original all time fav group from back in the day followed by Public Enemy! "I said lata man!" :D

  • Nice

  • straight up classic!

  • real hip hop = real life

  • @SCHMOOVNESS true!

  • I like the Change sample from Glow of Love

  • @DirtybirdGA wrong the sample is from SOS Band tune Tahe Your Time...close similar soul band from that era

  • Comment removed

  • Best rap album ever made. Period.

  • it's a great album, no doubt.

  • Brings back great memories. Long live 90s hip hop!!! Props to Black Sheep!!!

  • "Listen baby girl, lemme say it reeeeeeeeaaaaaal slow: gottago."

Fellas, who among us has never used those words?

  • this is the shitttt!!!! and im not trying to knock anyones hustle...rap started out with battles and egos. kanye can get a little played out but that just means more real rap needs to step up. N WE NEED TO BUY IT!!!!! if ppl could tell the difference between entertainment and reality no would even be trippin off yeezy or weezy....they would just be part of the selection. the industry want money, buy real music they will supply it. check out jdilla, illa j, jay electronica, western union, etc.

  • @lalameme123123 AMEN!!! I love hip-hop... hate hip-pop

  • Can you imagine if that overpromoted and over-rated absolute douche Kanye came up with this? We`d never hear the end of it. He`d be winning 5000 Grammys and MTV awards and he`d be boasting what a genius he is for the next 9 billion years. But in reality that bitch isn`t even a hair on a zit on the ass of these guys in terms of talent.

  • that guy's head has gotten too big(and its all gone to his nut stuffed gerbil cheeks) for his own understanding. But so goes the industry.

  • College Dropout is a great record. There's no denying that. Dres and Mr. Lawng are the shyt, obvi.

  • @JackHauss ha Obama was right about him

  • @JackHauss Mad true

  • @JackHauss True indeed!! I agree with you 1000%!

  • @JackHauss amen

  • @JackHauss, Thank you. I'm glad someone finally said it. Thanks again.

  • @JackHauss

Nah, Kanye makes some of the sickest beats that hip hop has heard in the last few years. It just sucks that he rhymes over a lot of them instead of giving them up to Jay, etc. That said, I kinda enjoy him being a pompous ass. It's enterainment: you either love him for it, or you love to hate him for it. Either way, it gets you goin.

  • @evilbahumut dude kanye was da shit lyke six years ago but he's complete garbage now tho his beats used to be head bangaz but now he's all into dat gay ass auto tune shit

  • @JackHauss Damn my man, you really don't like Kanye do ya.........LMFAO !!!!!

  • @JackHauss what he said.

  • @JackHauss It's true kanye is no match for this group but Kanye nonetheless is a great musician yes he is arrogant but he is still skilled!Black sheep is raw pure talent but there is no comparison so your insulting Black sheep by even comparing them to Kanye two different Generations and styles! Black Sheep still makes music but they were awesome during the golden age of Hip-Hop!

  • @JackHauss WORD!

  • @JackHauss Damn right brother!

  • @JackHauss I agree!!!!!!!!!

  • @JackHauss Agree 100% . Kanye IS a bitch.

  • @JackHauss - Well spoken, my friend...well spoken.

  • @JackHauss I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT KAYNE & THE COMPAREISON TO BLACKSHEEP.....SOME HOW CRAPPY ENTERTAINERS LIKE 50,,LIL JOHN,,KANYE,,LIL WAYNE,,,EVEN THE NEW KID DRAKE RISE TO THE TOP & TRUE HIP HOP ARTIST LIKE BLACKSHEEP GET 1 RECORD DEAL & DEPENDING ON RECORD SALES GET DROPPED.....

  • @JackHauss

i cant stand him hes the biggest fukn crybaby

if ur good then let us be the judge of that

  • @JackHauss kanye is a douche, but his early days of production weren't too bad... there are bigger disgraces to hip-hop than kanye

  • @yezzir197 kanye is not a disgrace. gucci mane is a disgrace. kanye makes quality music even if he is too much into the market. i personally like kanyes contribution to hip hop and songs like heartless or this way (with dilated peoples) make my day. He has also made nice cooperations like classic (with rakim, premier, krs one and nas). Furthermore he does not imitate all these gangsters. He has his own style.

For me a disgrace in hip hop is snoop dog for exaple. The guy lost his path.

  • @Jagspear I wrote that comment before I had grasped the full brilliance of his new album. Kanye is far from a disgrace, rather a pioneer regarding modern hip-hop. Disgraces to hip-hop for me are gucci mane, soulja boy, flo-rida and the such.

Snoops more of a sell-out, and for me the black eyed peas take the cake for selling out.

  • @yezzir197 tru dat bro. Like tupac and ice tea

  • @yezzir197 - Yeah his early days Where is he now? Coming out with giood beats in the past don't excuse sucking all ass today and boasting about it. If Justin Bieber use to be in Led Zeppelin does that excuse him?

  • @yezzir197 what the fuck does this have to do with kanye

  • @yezzir197

I don't know him on a personal level, but he has done some things publicly that were douchist - I mean a lot of us have moments where one would consider us a douche bag, but does that make us a douche in general? - But anyway - Douche or Not.........it has nothing to do with his production...................How did he become the subject of a Dres video anyway????

  • @onn1320 in all honesty, i KNOW the both of these guys personally and you cannot give dres credit without giving mr. lawnge his as well... do your research on the group... they put on for my city... all the way from ny to nc back to ny... sanford, nc - brooklyn, nc...

  • @JackHauss nah Kanye is alright dude chill out, he's obviously talented. So are black sheep. Different times, different tastes ya know. Chill.

  • trop du funkyness des années 90. J'aime.

  • this track is ill

  • VEVO LAGGGGGGGGGS

  • sick
