@Noonerz45 worry about metabolism! it's the right types of foods at the right times of your circadian rhythm :) Check out toneitupdiet/com for a breakdown on exactly what it takes to be in the best shape of your life, for the rest of your life! xxo
@TheAAA5078 It's more about the RIGHT TYPE of carbs, at the RIGHT TIMES! :) To learn more, head to toneitupdietDOTcom and pick up your copy of the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan ~ Everything we know about nutrition is packed into the 135 page program just for you :) xoxo
I love your videos! I'm also a fan of greek yogurt. Liberte' (Canadian company that is available at Publix) has a great Date and Fig flavor. So yummy! 130 calories, 0 % fat, 11 grams protein, and 15% calcium. Plenty of fig chunks and really sweet from the dates. Add some walnuts, toasted wheat germ, or Fiber One Bran Buds for crunch. :)
@thegoldrevlon after! taking in aprotein & carb post workout kickstarts and fuels the repair process :) otherwise your body will break down healthy tissue in order to repair from the exercise (a state of metabolism called "catabolic")
I have a workout and need help with it to see if its good or not, why and why not, can anyone please help me, if you can just send me a message or comment or such that would be great if you know what your talking about :D
I love greek yogurt! Especially when its organic and I put granola and honey on it with blackberries or strawberries! It keeps you full and makes you feel so clean and fresh! :)
I'm lactose intollerant so I eat soy yogurt for breakfast. Are there any "healthy" options when it comes to soy yogurt? Right now I'm buying Whole Soy & Co from Whole Foods.
I get just regular organic yogurt tho cuz its a little cheaper. I'm done with the big brands like Dannon and Yoplait. I used to eat the Dannon because its only 80 calories but they all have high fructose corn syrup and not enough protien. I'd rather eat a few extra calories than eat HFC or Splenda.
Sarah-- we agree!! We would rather eat 20 more calories and get lean protein than to have high fructose corn syrup and chemicals in the fake sugar. It's a little more expensive... but the cost of your health and not developing cancers and living healthfully may be worth that extra 50c :) I also notice if I have a yogurt with 13 sugars or more I am hungry sooner because of the spike in blood sugar levels and insulin.
@KrisCakes18 then you really won't like greek yoghurt lol. waaaay more sour. almost like sour cream! but i make mine nicer with cinnamon, maple syrup and fruit
Eating organic has so many benefits. To name a few: non-organic can be doused with pesticides and many of them won't wash off, so think of biomagnification- how those toxins increase and travel up the trophic levels. A lot of non-organic foods are GM (genetically modified). They have hormones in them that spike human hormone levels. No antibiotics in organic food, either. Much easier on the environment. Yes, it is easier for your body to digest because you're not ingesting toxins...etc.
I love Greek yogurt, but it tends to be more pricey than regular yogurt. Where can I find some inexpensive Greek yogurt? I'm a college student on a tight budget!
If your trying to lose weight more than you are trying to get toned up at the moment, would you worry more about carbs or calories?

I don't really like greek yoghurt, but I'm willing to try. How many scoops of protein powder would you put in a pot that size? Thanks :)

Fage yogurt is the best. It's the only yogurt we eat. I buy the 35 ounce container at Costco. I also use it in place of mayo and sour cream.
