@TheMai67 Been a while but the sweep is usually at 10 or 11 oclock and I adjust the bass/mid/treble accordingly to guitar. Boost channel on. Beast of an amp. Thanks!
@Dragonenforcer15 I learned this song years ago and had to refresh my mind on a couple bits. I nailed the rhythm first, then spent a few days tightening up the solo.
is what you have the Rev Jr or Rev Jr pro? your tone is really good and I'm thinking of getting a rev jr pro and based on what I'm hearing on your vid it seems it can achieve a damn near Metallica esq tone...if you have any opinions, suggestions, etc please let me know.
@Robertus1989 It's the regular 20 watt Rev Jr. The Pro I think has a separate eq for the clean channel and is footswitchable. They should sound about the same, but I got a steal on the regular Rev Jr on eBay.
My favorite feature on these amps is the midrange "Sweep" knob which allows you to achieve such a wide variety of tones. From a more scooped "Dimebag" ish sound to a more rounded and full Load-era Metallica sound, it's just very versatile.
Nice cover yo, your video presence could have made it and excellent cover. the rubber duckie pjs was not the best choice . but good cover none the less
This is by far one the the best covers I've ever seen! Massive creds to you good sir!

Just out of curiosity (not relating to upload dates) did you learn the solo first or the entire song?

@Robertus1989 Also, a big part of the tone here is the P90 pickups, which have such a sweet midrange presence that they really cut through the mix.
