I finally found it. I finally found it. I can't believe. I've been listening to lost of tracks of this cartoon while thinking of this one in particular. Thank you so much for the upload.
This is the best song on the soundtrack. Its even better than the opening and ending which is rare in a cartoon/anime. This music is so freakin awesome its appropriate to listen to anywhere anytime.
Probably this tune out of all of them reminds me of childhood... the mystery, the excitement of what lay ahead in life... with the tantalizing hope that we'd all find our own city of gold one day...
Speaking of rare ones, do you have "Field of Flowers" (I believe this was heard in one of the episodes dealing with the Amazons) or "Empire of Mu" (this was heard in the penultimate episode)?
There is a soundtrack that comes with the 6 Disc DVD Set, even though it is not mentioned on the cover or anywhere on the DVD package, a hidden 7th Disc you might say. But I don't think they are the same as the ones you have uploaded. So I thought maybe there were another official soundtrack but maybe released in Japan or Germany for example or some other country. Fun Fact: The original master copy of the soundtrack is lost. The soundtrack with the DVD Set is made from copies of the original.
@randomgasattack There was an official soundtrack released but it was only available in France and had only 15 tracks on it, this being one of them, its a pity that when Fabulous films made the DVD box set of the series they didn't include a CD with the full sound track on it, they did an interview with Shuki Levi about how he did the music for the series?
The theme song gets all the attention usually but the entire soundtrack is one of the best. If you hadn't made this playlist I think I would have had to :)

Best song from the best cartoon ever. Anyone who didn't watch MCOG in their youth (or adulthood) missed out.

This is the most perfect piece of music to ever be featured on television. Absolutely amazing, as is this whole soundtrack.

This piece is just the ultimate victory/celebration tune. You put it to any movie which has a grand ending, like Rocky, and it will 100x better.
