I did a google search on who all sang this song, and I'm pretty sure the version I remember from the radio is by the Hondells. Unfortunately, it's not on Youtube. I heard Bob Linds version, and that's not the one I remember. Thanks.
This is great! I have this on a 45 - I think it was on a Byrds album,too - but this one has more energy. Sure wish the Cascades had better luck with their releases but they seem to have gotten stuck with the soft rock sound moniker. Thanks for posting!!
