Alfrunk FEMA was good in the 90s but undercut by Bush which directly led to ineffective federal planning with regard to Katrina. Federal funding for the levees was cut following the astonding hurricane season of 2004 which pummelled Pensacola and the Gulf Coast by $71 million which was all earmarked for the levees...

FEMA gave orders to the troops n local police to execute people who were isolated from the rest of the masses. Thats why alot of local police committed suicide, those who didnt became desensitized to killing people. Katrina was a "dry run" for the martial law soon to come. There will be troops roaming our streets, sent to supposedly protect us from crime caused from the rising poverty rate, & they will be seizing guns n weapons from our homes so we cant protect ourselves.
Some of you peoples comments here are a clear example of humans beings dehumanized. Who in there right mind would put themselves in that soituation intentionally? They were told at the very last minute the storm was coming & had little time to make preparations. FEMA could have loaded supplies n food in helicopters and cleared a landing on the bridge. They didnt because they didnt want 2. FEMA was waiting for word from the local government ti be given complete n absolute control of the situation

It turn around and hit alabama.

This is YOUR fault because govt is not the answer. Offering rewards for evacuating them to shelters and this would have been solved in 48 hrs. Also, Gretna had right enforcing their mandatory evac & keeping their town looter free.

Federal funding for the levees was cut following the astonding hurricane season of 2004 which pummelled Pensacola and the Gulf Coast by $71 million which was all earmarked for the levees...

FEMA gave orders to the troops n local police to execute people who were isolated from the rest of the masses. Thats why alot of local police committed suicide, those who didnt became desensitized to killing people. Katrina was a "dry run" for the martial law soon to come.
