  • One of the reasons I never watched shows like Big Brother was because of the relentless back stabbing and school girl locker room bitchyness (even by the males...Almost seemed like their pets were doing it as well XD). No wonder so many Americans are on mood stabalizers and anti-depressants. How can you live like that ? Sorry, but that way of life ain't for me man.

  • Oh God! Rollercoaster riding 101 - tell any first timers to brace their neck so they don't get whiplash! Poor Cheif!

  • @vagtasticone

lol, no one told me that the first time I rode a rollercoaster either.

  • Did they ever find TOM Navy

  • Next time take the natives to a trip around the world...

    Stopping in:

    Green Land

    France

    Cape Town

    Tokyo

    Sydney

That way they could see a wider and deeper diversity in cultures instead of spending their time in roller coasters.

  • Dem bitches got they hands allll over Mngau

  • Only decent person in the family is their father, seems like a great guy and someone that you can get along with, although their daughters seem a bit lost and spoiled

  • the native american chant gave me goosebumps... its so beautiful!! i wish america would maintain this culture

  • At least they learn that in America some creeds keep their traditions and not have lost it

  • how did an american come to their island and bring peace? wtf!? im sure they were just as peaceful as they are today.

they probably got tom navy mixed up with the navy and uncle tom

  • @JUKIO01 True. I think they are probably more peaceful than we could ever be, however, he did say they were at war with opposing tribes at that time. Tribal issues, etc. However, I'd place money on the fact that they don't send their elders to old age homes to be cared after by strangers, steal people's food, retirement money or leave their babies in dumpsters. I'm touched that Tom Navy could teach them something, but I think they have more to teach us.

  • Sam - "I don't think the chief should ride the rollercoaster again."

dumb bitch - "Hey chief so you wanna ride the roller coaster again?!!?!??! lol"

  • DId she said Montana @ 0:42? LOL! ... Man, That OC bitch got no clue where this ppl come from though she's hosting 'em ..... and that show OC ppl are such Phony ass mozfokrs!!!!!!!!!

  • actually she might have mentioned it because they stayed in montana.

  • That makes sense .. thanks anyway!!!

  • I would have thought that native americans merited more than three minutes in a theme park.

  • Agreed, they should have been asked to host the men instead of these Orange County assholes.

  • @asubjectiveopinion Me, too. Would have been nice to take them to see where native Americans still hold their traditions to be true and really speak to them. I do feel that they felt a sort of connection to the Native American, however.

  • Knotts Berry Farm is pretty fun. But Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mountain are better parks.

  • @09tranm disneyland all the way, they should have brought them there and showed the fun side to american culture.

  • This is my least favorite part of this series. I think the father is the only one who is decent. Probably because he seems to be the only one who works for a living. He supports his full grown children, allowing them to live leisurely and indulgent lives.

I have to agree with a lot of people that these people are definitely taking advantage of the natives. Maybe not so much the parents, but definitely the bimbo daughters and son.

  • lol, thats exactly what i was thinking too. first time i was watching this show, i was like wtf?! how old are these gurls? do they still live at home... and wtf is with the son, hes like 30 years old, and he lives at home and does shit. their all practually homeless

  • @JUKIO01 That's the parents' choice.

  • @minimalismiskey I think the children are just highly immature and silly. I do agree that this family is my LEAST favorite part of the series. I feel myself cringing watching them interact and really keep asking myself, 'what were the producers thinking when they chose THIS family?'. I hope this family saw themselves and really felt embarrassed and humbled in comparison to the other families who didn't make a mockery out of the natives.

  • Can't the channel do some research and find out who "Tom Navy" was and find him? They could figure out what units were stationed at the island at that time and try to go from there. I hope they find him.

  • they wont find "tom navy". it is a reality show and i doubts that tom navy is actually real.

  • Actually, there are several characters that made contact with the islanders during World War 2. Religions were even created around some of these soldiers, the most famous of them being "John Frum," who some people of Tanna viewed as some sort of deity.

It's most likely that "Tom Navy" was just a guy named Tom who was in the navy and spent some time in Tanna during WW2.

  • Gotta agree there. The painted toenails... the chief on the rollercoaster. Whether intentional or not, this family took advantage of the these men's kindness and innocence.

  • @AuntKristin I think it shows how out of touch with the rest of the country these children are and moreover, I think they saw this as some reality show where they would look cute, funny and beautiful. It's too bad they really missed the point.

  • The Native American man's name is Gary Wis-Ki-Ge-Amatyuk Jr. He is a Potawatomi/Ojibwe Indian whose family originally comes from the Prairie Band Indian reservation in Kansas. He comes from the Chief Burnett/Wahbnosah family.

  • @supersteve9219 how do you know this? wikipedia?

  • he is my cousin we have a website, its the first result when you google "wiskigeamatyuk"

  • @supersteve9219 Thanks for this information. I'm so glad they were able to meet him, I wish they could have met more native Americans.

  • it is sad and touching to see which part in the american society is the left for the native americans and their cultural heritage. in a amusement park under a rollercoaster. this is the modern reality of this unique and dissapearing culture. i think the tanna people, coming from a very traditional background, understood the situation in a more deep way than it was introduced by this OC family. dont think this family could intruduce them to any culture at all.

  • @marisa82 what are you gunna do, the ambassadors both here and in the last series were left out of the loop of the real things going on in the world

i wouldn't suppose they would go talk to a sociologist of historian for the truth

  • Comment removed

  • @marisa82 i know. its so fukn dissrespectful to the native americans, and their all smiling like they dont give a shit. atleast the native could build casinos

  • @marisa82 Many of us have lost our heritage and traditions unfortunately. I think the family was just showing them what they do in a normal day, but you are somehow right. It does show a certain sense of irony in the fact that these things you do make up your culture and if your culture is sitting in a hot tub, getting botox injections and riding on roller coasters, it's almost like, who are you??

  • @marisa82 Uh, There are absolutely massive Indian reservations throughout the US, you'd be surprised how huge.

  • @guest062888

lol i guess you are trying to tell me with this that this is the way how amaricans are preserving the native american culture? ;)

  • @marisa82 I'll preserve your culture for you any day babe

  • @guest062888

well, compared to you yank I at least have a culture

  • @marisa82 What are you on about? They are showing the tribe the current American culture so they ARE introducing them to a culture! Before this video I thought that this kind of American were off in their own worlds and didn't have their feet on the ground in any real sense but I've realised by watching this that they ARE actually quite loving. I've never seen this side of that American culture before!

  • in my opinion, this particular family is so disrespectful of the tribe and do not take the Chiefs age or respect into consideration. Its like they use the tribe as their own amusement.

  • Sort of like when "sexy" OC bimbo has Happy Man's toenails painted like a woman. Good thing he's a good sport. I agree, this family is not my favorite.
