Umm... I do have a question, is this program the one you used for lineart and does it have smooth lines? From what I see it has smoother lines, and it looks rather interesting. I'm trying to find a less expensive program (photoshop) that doesn't have me pay in Yen (Sai,) so if this program (Pixelmator) has smooth lines... I think I might buy it.

Beautiful drawing, love the way the hair flows and the perspective. Also I like how you shaded, I've never been that good with shading.

When you were coloring in the dress and the arm thingy (sorry I forgot what its called...) there were times when you would put a color onto it, took it away, blurred the other colors and then they reappeared and you added them back in and blurred them. did you just repaint those colors or did you press something to make them do that?

Awesome job coloring!! You're really good ^_^ I'm a little confused though, I'm trying to color line art using pixelmator as well (but the newer version) and I put the line art (background layer) as the top layer so when I color, the colors won't cover up the line art. But when I went to color the second layer it wasn't doing anything, it was coloring underneath it on no layer. Do you know what I could be doing wrong?

so after you finished shading on each of the 'pieces' (hair, skin, etc.) in which i'm guessing all of those layers were on normal mode, you just combined them? (cause i HATE getting lost in all those TONS of layers, and end up doing something on the wrong layer...) There is no way I'm going to name each and every one of them.

You have a lot of interesting shading and contrast that you smudge completely out!

Don't get me wrong; the finished product is beautiful, but... don't be afraid to leave some hard shading and contrast in there. Look at 1980s anime, or early 90s. They had balls when it came to shading. Beautiful contrast, three-tone skin, etc. Macross Plus comes to mind.
