@nabbestemmia GX was the most boring of all the F-Zero games. I prefer the original and X, especially X with expansion kit. You can make some pretty insane tracks with it.

I still find WipEout to be more fun.

GX is X's bitch when played right. Go search "F-Zero X track fatal" and hit the first video.

Then, look up any good WipEout HD Zone Mode video that goes over zone 100.

Finally, there are a couple of Extreme Lap Challenge videos from this very game, one's by me.

FZGX is just a boring ride with pretty colors.

Still, I've found that people who don't have a knack for racing games or are simply young tend to play like this often. The former of which usually don't get better though.

There used to be a site that had it but I think some/all of the song links are broken.

I have every song EXCEPT for the pre-race music, which I may be able to get via DVD recorder and turning off all sound (haven't tried it because I never needed to). The reason I do not have it is because it wasn't up on the site ;-)

many thanks for posting this, a game I used to enjoy a lot on the PS2. This was my favourite level; the intro music as the camera approaches the start line...the rain/blade runner style of the city. And it was a greatgame to play; esp when breaking the sound barrier and all the noise melted away...I could get goosebumps....great job by the programmers - my second favourite racing game after SF Rush 2049.

For some reason my PS2 version of this game has some nasty LOD bugs on this level. They only show during cutscenes (THANK GOD!!) but they are very blatant, some of them completely ruining the look of the game (ex. track/building LOD where it makes it look like the track goes STRAIGHT INTO THE SIDE OF A BUILDING!)

Just a couple hours ago, I managed to snag first place with the 1500G "Firefly" engine (hella hard, but the fastest in the game!).

I had to kill 5 racers to do it, but the railgun makes that part easy!

I can't wait to be able to start recording vids from my TV so I can show how deadly I am with a railgun while driving well past the speed of sound (precisely, its 740.1 mph, but XG3 has weird bugs that make sound come back even when over 800 mph).

You usually don't hear the t very well when people normally say "beat", and in the original version of that song (a much older one), I think the t on beat is a little more pronounced, but not as much.

Today, how people say it, it sounds like the "bee" is simply abruptly ended so it kinda sounds like a t. The result: "Beat" sounds like "B".

Extreme G3 is at the moment the newest

version of the game, which is that one in the vid.

It's available on GameCube and

PlayStation 2, not sure for PC.

I don't know if there will come an

Extreme G4, but hopefully it will for

Nintendo Wii andPS 3 in the future someday.

Actually, there is a fourth game; XGRA. Although, in my opinion, that game does not even compare to playing XGIII. Throwback Entertainment, a company based in Ontario, bought the Acclaim library, and is planning to release Extreme-G once again. There is very little information on it, though.

this is probably the second hardest track to beat in final cups, boosting over jumps is pointless. so the AI get massive gains for some reaosn in speed...

Actually from the point the AI starts using weapons, outrunning em in the straight drops of atraidatoshi is the best to survive their weapon cause they won't do shit in that part of the track.
