@satanruler1997 Make sure your xbox is set to 1080i not 1080p. the highest that thing will go is 1080i. I ran into the same problem and i think that's what your running into.

ive put all the cables on the hd pvr i choosed hdtv on the component cable of the xbox but(1) when i open the capture module there is a black screen(2) i choose "component" on the tv's channels but there is black screen too.What can i do??!??! PLEASE respond!!

@MrAggelosZ 1 make sure xbox is in 1080i. 2 alot of people ran into the same problem for awhile (at least it looked like it in the arcsoft forum) but mine is working fine now.

@RecycledGFX yeah this usually happens when you first plug it in, just use the On/Off button of the PVR and switch it on and off, if this fails click 'Refresh' on ArcSoft Capture Module :)

@MauledByATurtle yeah this is a bug, the arcsoft software can be a cunt sometimes so id advise to completly uninstall just total media extreme not the PVR drivers and reinstall them :)

My PVR has all of the colors record in blue. Literally, all the colors that are anything but blue, are blue, and anything blue, is orange/red. BUT, once I load it into Sony Vegas Pro 10, the colors are fine.

Here's the issue. Even though the colors are fine, IT ONLY RECORDS THE TOP LEFT QUARTER OF THE SCREEN! Literally. Check out my channel to see the video, but seriously, please help. I just bought this PVR and I need it to work.

@MrAfcmad6 Firstly, if the other end of this longer USB cable can actually fir into the back of the PVR then I see no problem with it, and the HD Component cables have in this order Red, White, Hreen, Blue and Red cables on one end and the other end is a quite long and fat input that plugs into the back of your xbox just below your wireless reciever, this ensures you don't plug in an hdmi cable which you do not need for the PVR :)
