No these catfish can crawl because areas in the south have a high humidity and catfish dont need a whole lot of water to survive. (They live in warm ponds. Warm water=less air because of the movement of mollecules.) so if a small puddle they are living in dries up, they wait until night when its cooler and waltz on to find a new one. Some go for miles at a time.

Actually they are named Catfish because their barbels on their face closely resemble that of a cat. You cannot, and i repeat, CANNOT, breed a cat and a fish. Atleast not by any natural means. By your hypothesis a dogfish is part dog, correct? A Lionfish must obviously be part lion? A clownfish must obviously be half clown ?
