  • yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! nice long boring solo

  • i loved the little bass solo at the beginning.. if that s what it is..

  • This brings back childhood memories, this album and give us a wink are amazing

  • I've just been watching the Frank Sinatra movie " Man with the golden arm and discovered the Sweet, great. John Lenneon must 'ave seen the movie when he wrote cold turkey and Everybodie 's got something to hide except me and my monkey 'cos he sure had a monkey on his back (drugs) Thanx for posting

  • haven't heard this for 35 odd years. talk about memories. what a drummer

  • Desolation Boulevard has many good tracks, and this is also one of them. Good drum solo, but not just a solo. Well done intro with the trumpets. The drums, the cymbals, the pauk section, the bells, etc.. I especially liked the combination drumming at 7:10, ending with the ballroom blitz groove, followed by the brilliant ending! Thx for uploading.

  • .......... ohne worte....... mick du warst der allergeilste...und ich war und bleibe sweet-fan, stevie hing an all meinen wänden und bis heute ist er für mich der hammer............i love sweet.........r.i.p. mick und brian

  • very capable musicians.on top of that they were cool.

  • This was not on the US version, but only on the UK.

  • This song is coming from a GLAM band..

Yeah they better than the rest... nuff said

  • Dude I Had Desolatiom Blvd on Vinyl Several times and CD Never heard this TRACK. Its Awe-sum

  • @jacques0711

  • There is also live version of this song on the "Strung Up" album.

  • Dude..... i HAD DESOLATION on Vinyl n This song was NEVER on it.... Anyway Its weird , Awe-sum

  • Holy crap! I wore out a few copies of Desolation Blvd and this was definitely not on the Merkin release. Tnx for the upload!

  • Is Mick on a double-bass kit? If not, that's some kick action worthy of Bonham.

  • @mrblitz00 Yeah i think he was. Not too many had the speed of Mr. Bonham's right foot...but still Mick is good.

  • Sweet!

  • First time I ever heard this, because it was not on the American release of Desolation. Pretty cool. Mick's a rockin'!

  • you little speddds -_-

i said that like, a year ago.

    get the fuck over it.

  • Wow! This song is all over the map. A little jazz to start with definitely rock and the drummer gets to show off his versatility and training with an excellent solo. I especially love the tympani. Takes me back to band class in middle and high school. Thanks for posting!

  • Woo! Yay Mick Tucker. :)

He was such a badass drummer. <3

  • Magnificent.

    Wherever you are, Mick, RIP

  • this is great!

  • Used to listen to Sandy Nelson as a kid.

  • look up Sandy Nelson on you tube,

  • Hey chriso love the solo, gibony's eyes would have been popping out all over the place listening to this. MARTO

  • chriso? are you sure you have the right person?

  • What a Great Drum Solo. Ginger Baker should have listened to Mick Tucker, when he did his drum solo in, "Toad". I am surprised Eric Clapton did not know about Mick Tucker. Mick Tucker was absolutely, "Great"!!!

  • Awesome! Mick at his BEST! Thanks so much for posting this!

  • You are welcome!!

  • that's the music i like =)

  • I hope you still listen to them!!!

  • This brings back memories, I was given this on cassette I was about ten, Iplayed the tape so much you could see through it, what an album and what a band.

  • Thomas Michael Tucker was a God on the Drums.

The first. with Double Bass Drums on a Ludwig Drumkit. Mick was my Idol ever.

    Awesome Performance!!!

    R.i.P. my Friend 4ever!!!

    Thanxs for upload, Five Stars!

  • really bad music

  • It would not do for us all to like the same music otherwise the world would be boring!! Listen to Set Me Free and see what you think. I dare say if I listened to your type of music, I would say the same thing and not being petty, I would not leave derisory comments!!

  • i c

  • fuck you

  • dude.

  • Yea! This is sweet! (so to speak)

Mick Tucker RULES! And so does the whole band!

  • hey very good job!! nice to hear drums... tho I luv guitars very much! I wish I could play drums!

  • Glad you liked it.

  • great sound and vid, glad that i had a chance to view it! (((ONE)))

  • Very Cool!

  • Thanks

  • awesome work! I play tenor sax and sing, but have always wanted to play drums just for fun but haven't...you inspire me:) shower of stars your way!

    Shelly

  • Thanks for that. When you have become proficient with the drums, send me the vid.

  • The song is not actually "The Man with the Golden Arm," but "Delilah Jones," from the movie "The Man with the Golden Arm." It was originally done by the McGuire Sisters. (If they sound pretty tame to have done a song like this, remember that Phyllis McGuire was involved with mobster Sam Giancana for years.)

  • Thats why the title is " Man With The Golden Arm " so as to cause no confusion.

  • Great, very cool! Thanks for sharing!

  • You are welcome

  • Oh wait, really really nice drum solo, it gets pretty freakin' cool toward the end!

    BEN

  • So what made you change you mind?

  • got cooler at the end. Through alot of the beginning it wasn't really impressive and quite a bit repetative

  • Comment removed

  • Pretty nice, dudes! Guitar wasn't my taste, but well done, nice(yet a bit repetative) drum solo

    BEN

  • Thanks

  • Very nice.

    Thanks for sharing 4u2know1

  • Thanks

  • Well done

  • Thanks

  • EEEEEK !- that drummer knows how to work the sticks there- thanks for sharing!-you guys got it goin on!

  • Glad you liked it.

  • This is some Drumsolo! awesome, 5* A.D. :)) thanks for sharing 4u2know1

  • And he could do this live as well!!!

  • Neil Peart of RUSH is considered by many to be the greatest rcok drummer... but i prefer Mick Tucker!!! Peart actually does the jazzy bits in with his solos now.. I wonder if he's heard this!

I just saw that Steve Priest has his own Sweet now.... :-)?!!

  • As far as I am aware, Steve does not perform as much as he used to and it is fact Andy that tours with his own version of Sweet and has done for 20 odd years. There are many excellent drummers, past and present and Mick would be one of the best but, its like with any instrument, I don't think anyone can claim to be the best, unless they take an ego trip, but one of the best!!

  • Steve's son recently left a comment on a vid about his dad practicing with a new 'Steve' lineup of Sweet. Would love to see that if he came to UK.

  • That would be interesting!! Thanks Lou.

  • went to see theese guys at hamersmith odeon in 1976 this has just taken me back thanx

    youre right they are missed

  • This is ace, I'm pleased this is uploaded for Mick!

  • Thanks Lou, I'm surprised nobody has put this track up before.

  • This is an under-rated LP.

    The whole LP rocks!

    Thanks!

  • A very talented and sadly missed line-up.
