The Odo was about 500tkm already on this wone. I sold it at about 620tkms. Which the engine was still running.

Dude, it's a 89 M20B25 on 500.000km's, what do u expect??? after words when i reconstructed the engine it was hitting 240 clean. but unfortunately my camera was broken...

@bigdash86 sometimes i go to germany on the autobahn and try to get the top speed.. but its like 232km mostly in germany i drive 110 - 160 km/h

and my bmw did drive like 260.000km's

I have 1990 E34 525i with M50B25 and I have driven it in about 236km/h and I think it goes even more. Nothing was tuned, everything was stock.

those m20b25 had a top speed limiter also at 207kmh, if i am not mistaken

max speed is 230, yesterday i came home from germany with a car like this and on M3autoband in hungary i hited 230km/h at 6400 rpm

well in don't know for a 520i E34. But on the E34 525i M20B25 i used a Holset HX50 Turbo and it was pretty good. It was giving about 0.9 bar pressure. Even after fine tuning and a good dyno it gave 1.0 bars. But i don't even know i there is a Turbo kit for the 2.0 liter inline 6 BMW's... Now i'm going to Build up a E34 525i M50B25. or maybe i'll just swap the engine to a M60B40 4 liter V8. It's more cheaper and easy to have a V8 than a Turbo engine. M60B40 has 286hp which is good enough)))

I had 11/1990 525i m50b25 it went to more 250km/hr....but bro your engine m20b25 or m20b20(520i)???? if it is m20b25 why km gauge has till 240 km/hr!!!!!

dude how many times i gotta say it's a M20B25 and it has 170 horses that's why the first 525i had a 240 km/h speedo, and when they came up with the M50B25 they butted a 260km/h.... on this video the engine was really banged up and had much miles on it, than after words it was repaired....

and by the way the max speed u can get on M50B25 is 245 or 250km's cuz at that speed the engine is hitting the rev. limiter doesn't matter if it's vanos or not. but than again good performance, my one was a really old M20B25 so it was ok i guess))) :P by the way u should get the Hartge chip and delete ur vmax, than maybe u can get 260 or more km's.... look for the video with Harget chip M50B25 on youtube amazing!!!

it's hard to believe that u did, anyways i had a M20B25 which is 170hp and for a never opened engine on half a million km's it was ok for ma car, well vanos is some technology added to the M50 but i even don't know what it is exactly, plus i never had a M50. I allways had M20B25 also as E30 325i. Now a dayz i'm lookin forward for a E30 ///M3 S14B25!!!

look my friend first tell me what kind of engine it is??? is it a M20B25 12valve 170hp, or a M50B25 192hp 24 valve, and if it's a M50 is it with vanis or not, plus with out any tuning or some mods on the engine 250 or 260 km'h is not possible for that car!!!

dude it's my car and i know what engine that i have under my hood!!! i've been interested in BMW's since i could say ma own name and it's a M20B25 12valve 2.5liter engine. This vidoe was made when i first got the car with 500.000km on it allready, that's why it couldn't made more than 205km/h. than some tuning came in including a PT88 Turbo but the engine blew up before i could make an video, cuz i had some radiator problems, and after that i moved so i couldn't buil it up again...

My -92 Nissan Primera 2.0 clx 123hp does 210 and got 265000 km.

Something must be wrong with your engine. Or maybe the Japanese build better cars, i dont know :)

dude ur car is a nissan primera which is much lighter than my car. plus u have a 2 liter inline 4 engine with front wheel drive. i had 500000km's on this video allready. and the engine was never opened. of course after this video the engine was completly restored with all the part and stockly i could run about 225km/h. than a bit tuning came in but after words. so it's not about jap or german, my one was a 89 M20B25 which for that age and that many km's on the car the performace was gr8i think.

dude i don't need the car's spesifications cuz i know'em allready, but o this video the engine is a M20 and it's over 500.000km's allready. so it's even great that this car still can make 200km/h..... after words the engine was completly fixed and it was gianing up to 230 with our any problem......

it's not a V8. It's a E34 ///M5 engine i6. 3.8liters. I built it but again i crashed it))). i had original E30 ///M3 brake pads and disc's. i should've upgraded it to E34 ///M5)))

its an 89 735i SE shadowline, but its gonna have be scrapped soon, its engines broke its done 200k miles its starting to rust and the propshaft is coming out of place.

when was u born??? this car has been produced in 1988 and it was sold for it's first time at BMW germany frankfurt in 1989. and that was my big uncle who bought it)))) this car is all most like a family tradition)))volvo's and BMW's r different machines and cars. ur car is a diffierent generation of car and engine then mine. so pls stop telling ur car is faster or some like that. if it was in the time that this car was new ur S40 had no chance. still mine will take over from 0-100 ur one)))

M20 with half a mill km's? worn camshaft lobes, rocker arms, the 1st and the 6th cylinders' walls. it all is familiar, isn't it? I've got an M20b20 320i with 350000 at least. your engine needs to be rebuilt. in spite of that it drives well, though.

I've rebuild it all ready!!! AEM ECU, HKS 1.6bar turbo, Foget pistons, M5 100% lock differential, new exaust system, block ressurection, KONI suspension systems(complete), 6 speed M5 transmition, Short shift, HKS Intercoolerand blow off valve, HKS all around the engine is better and easyer to say!!! but the car isstill at the garage! I mean it's still under construction!
