I see what looks like a lot of old player piano rolls in the background. That is quite a collection. I am amazed how well those old cylinders held up. Not exactly today's super light touch turntables.
@Jim1Johnson Yes, that is indeed part of my collection of piano rolls; I have another cabinet on the opposite side of the fireplace with the other half of my collection, which houses my considerable inventory of Christmas rolls! And yes the quality of these cylinders is quite remarkable considering their age; this particular cylinder is from 1905...so I'd say it sounds pretty good for being well over 100 years old! And I saw your message about Arthor Pryor by the way...he was a great trombonist!
